Weekend Potty Animal

Easton's been on a roll! Ever since he first had that Friday night success he's been doing well with the potty. Yesterday was his best yet. He did both functions in the potty numerous times! Almost makes up for him not taking his nap. In the morning he decided he needed to poo and he made a small one. Then he made what he called a "basketball" and wanted to try to make a football after that. He spent the morning making phone calls to all his grandparents to tell them the exciting news. Then, once I got him up from his failed nap he told me "want to sit on the potty" again. Another batch of successes! After that he told me he wanted to show Daddy and to call Grammy. Daddy was mowing the lawn so we simply told him and then gave Grammy a ring:

He went both before and after his bath too. Actually he asked to get out of the bath in order to "make a Thomas". Then he got back in. Then out again to "make a tunnel for Thomas". What an imagination! It's like our "Bread People" dinner game. Good times.

He went poo 3 times yesterday...not once in his diaper! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

But, like I said, he didn't nap yesterday even though he acted super tired all morning. I thought we should take advantage and do something fun but we didn't. J came up with a picnic dinner idea for dinner, though. It was great:
Easton actually asked to sit in the stroller for dinner:

So, Dalton had to come off to sit on the table:

As we were cleaning up our food we turned around to see this!

That's a lie...we put him there.

But first...

Dalton had another rough night...so I did too. Our strung out addict...paci addict, that is:

I still like him, though:

This morning when I went in to get Easton he was chillin' on his throw pillow balls:

I said, "Stay just like that! I'm gonna get the camera" and he obliged. We then went to grab doughnuts and Dizzle was being a goof with his toes when we got back:

After that I had to rush...we were expecting both Ellis and Max to come play. When Max and Susannah rang the bell I literally had to pull on my shirt and take the towel off my head. Easton was completely naked at the time trying to use the potty. Whoops. But, all the boys seemed to have a fun time playing:

All three boys are super close in age. Max is 5 weeks older than Easton and Ellis is in between the two. It's amazing how different they can be developmentally and such. Easton is, of course, way tiny compared to those two. Max is sooooo tall compared to both and Ellis is the super verbal one. Although he called Dalton "Dolphin" and then Max did too. I think that's funny. No pictures of Ellis because I have yet to ask his mom if it's okay to put him on the blog.

Dalton took an amazing nap (for him) while everyone was here. I put him down at 8:45 before my shower and then didn't hear anything from him till 10:20. No waking after 45 minutes! Yay! He does that every once in awhile--like once every two weeks or so. But, still...with the rowdy boys playing downstairs I was glad he slept.

This afternoon we're off to Wal-Mart and then it's Chick-fil-a for dinner. Maybe we can get Easton to eat another half nugget? The nutritionist comes in the morning! Eek!

You got some fantastic pictures at the park! Dalton had some SUPER smiley ones and Easton was too cute in that tree. You have the most photogenic kids!

I'm am so impressed at Easton and his potty skills. Adam has been peeing on his since last November and has only pooped twice! I feel like we're never going to get him fully potty trained.

He is too funny about "making things" on the potty. How did he come up with such a silly idea? Gotta tell you, I'm surprised you didn't take pictures to show Jason instead of just sharing it over the phone. Knowing me, I probably would have. :)

That one of you and D is fantastic! Don't you guys want to move to the East Coast so you can come over and play?

Amazing photos!!! I loved them!! And I am more and more convinced that Dizzle looks like Jason. I know you guys don't see it, but I totally do.

Easton is SOOOO funny!! Making a Thomas...and then a tunnel for Thomas. So clever!! Whatever works, right? I'm so proud of his potty success!! Go Easton! Woot!
