It's a Grill!!!

Mimi and PawPaw treated us to Christmas in September...we got a grill!

Although Dalton is mighty delicious (especially his round baby feet) we didn't fire up the grill yesterday (when we got it). We saved it for today when we had my mom and Lauren up too and Jason did a variety of meats--chicken, steak, shrimp, and sausage and then these lovely kebabs:

Just look at all that shish...hardee har har!!

Not much going on otherwise. Just hanging out with The Garols and trying to make sure Dalton is getting his sleep and trying to keep Easton out of the naughty corner. He actually hasn't been in since Friday! But, Friday was awful with the time-outing so I guess he got it all out of his system for awhile. Either that or he's better when Jason is home? I dunno.

Some of the latest pics is all I'm left to talk about I guess.

Well, let's see...the other day Dalton wasn't feeling his best. A bit of a cough. He's, like, better already though. Anyway, he was totally zoning on the couch, vegging in front of the tube with Daddy. I wanted a picture but as soon as he saw me and the camera he broke into smiles instead:

Looks like Easton will continue to be a distraction during Dalton's mealtimes as he likes to be right there during solid feedings too:

What else? Easton built his Legos "up so tall":

And went to the park with PawPaw and Daddy:

Some more grandfather/grandson bonding:

Those just made me realize we need to get some pictures with Mimi. Oops. And maybe some with Easton too...ya think?

And finally, Dalton tried avocado for the first time today:

I didn't puree it...yet...just fork mashed it. It was big of me to expect him to handle chunks like that. He did okay but didn't gobble it up or anything. He didn't seem to hate it but what does he know? He eats tray:

Sorry for not giving too much more of an update. We haven't been doing a whole heck of a lot, honestly. Seems like less than normal for some reason which is sad because we have guests we should be showing a good time, right? Hmmmm.

Maybe we'll do something tomorrow? I dunno.

Wow! Nice grill!

See, I knew Dizzle would be passing KayTar up in the eating department soon. *lol* Mashed avocado would come straight back out, if we could even get it in at all!

Love the photos!! Enjoy your relaxing time!

Love the picture of D in the grill. Very cute. I am very impressed with Easton's lego tower.

Enjoy the rest of your time with The Garols. I am anxious to hear about Dalton's sleeping afterwards. I am totally sold on Cori's plan. The last 2 nights we have only had one feeding.

I am trying to lure you in...hahahaha

Nothing like a man and his grill! Why is it that men loving cooking on the grill and not in the kitchen? Oh and just an FYI, try dunking those kebabs in italian dressing for an hour before grill time and they turn out heavenly!

Look at D eating avocado! That is awesome.

What a great gift! Cooking out on the grill is the best. I'm not even a fan of kabobs, but those sure look purty.

I'm also impressed with the lego tower. Can you believe Adam doesn't own legos? He's so deprived.

Glad ya'll are having fun with the Garols!

Awww cute pic of Dalton on the grill! That grill looks awesome! Dalton is rocking the whole eating thing(well except for the whole tray incident but we won't talk about that lol). Glad to hear Easton is showing his happy listening side too!
