Happy Earth Day

Okay, this might be lame to get so excited about but I have 2 new things in my "sidebar". The latest book I'm reading (recommended by my friend Maura) AND my super exciting slide show of collages. Thanks to Amanda for helping me get it in there in the first place and to Kim for making it run vertically. SO fun! Amanda and Kim are both really talented digital scrapbookers and run their latest layouts in their slideshows. Maybe someday I'll do that too. Right now it's just collages that took me all of 2 minutes to do.

The part I'm most proud of is putting the picture of the book in the sidebar AND then making it a link. I did that without help...not even J's help! He is still sleeping. As is E.

Today we are planning to head to the free day at the Botanic Gardens. Good way to "celebrate" Earth Day...plus it's free and it's supposed to be gorgey out today. Later on my mom and sister are coming over to E-sit so J and I can have a date. We're planning on going to see V for Vendetta then dinner somewhere TBD. :) We'll see though, last time they watched him he freaked out when they tried to put him in a highchair, granted they weren't at our house and it was an unfamiliar high chair. Hopefully he'll do fine here at home with them and we won't get called home mid-date. I'm sure they'll all be fine.
