That's Colorado for You

Goodness, I should know not to be surprised by now but still...when the morning starts off so dreary with wind and wetness but you can play outside (click here for the video) with no coat in the afternoon...it's just a little strange but that's how Colorado weather always is.

J came home early from work yesterday which is always nice. We ate late lunches and then were too full for the dinner we had planned so we'll be eating it (baked ziti) on Monday instead. We like to try to plan out all our meals for the week but it's always SO hard so we don't mind if something carries over into the next week. Makes it easier to fill up our list.

For today, we originally had plans to go to a free concert by the Denver Philharmonic but it ended up interfering with the sacred nap time. We didn't want to mess with that. Plus, with all the rainy snow yesterday the garage door ended up dripping a tiny bit on the dresser Jason is finishing out there. Oops! So, he was wanting to work on fixing that as well. It should turn out okay. Easton would probably hate having to sit still for an hour long concert at this point anyway. Maybe next time. I have a friend that plays in the Denver Philharmonic, she'll keep me posted of more free shows.

I think once Jason is done working on the dresser this afternoon we'll head out to do a little shopping. We were thinking of buying some hair clippers and trying to maybe do Easton's first haircut ourselves before too long. Still not sure, but his hair is getting quite long! I don't think I could possibly make it look any more uneven, but you never know!
