Mom's Night Out

Yay! As sort of a last minute thing, some mommy friends and I are going out tonight. I'm looking forward to a little break but I love my life and my family so I don't really need to get away. It's just nice to connect with other moms sometimes, especially sans kids.

Easton is actually taking his second nap of the day which is unusual for him. Sometimes his short nighttime sleeps catch up with him and he's extra cranky leaving me no choice but to put him down early in the day and cross my fingers he'll nap again later. Luckily this doesn't happen all that often, I just wish the kid would sleep longer at night. Hopefully he'll be a good boy for Jason tonight but will still go to bed at a reasonable time. I am lucky to have such a supportive husband who works hard so I can stay home with The E, yet he understands that what I do is still "work" and encourages me to take breaks like these. He's the best! He even went in to work a little early this morning so he could leave a little early in time for me to meet the gals. Awww!
