Hard Work

Some of you might not know this--at least not from personal experience, but it is insanely difficult to push a shopping cart through a Wal-Mart parking lot when the ground is packed with layers of ice topped with slushy, dirty snow and fresh powder.

I did this just a few hours ago in the 15 degree weather, blowing snow, and my cart full of two boys and groceries.

Ugh.

We had to stop at the regular grocery store on our way home--they have better potato salad and pico de gallo--Wal-Mart needs to learn from them as the regular grocery store had everyone leave their cart at the door and drive their car up to the curb where they would load your car for you! Too bad I only had 4 things and therefore no cart. If I had known they were doing that I would've done all my shopping there this week (vs. Wal-Mart).

That's how hard it is to navigate your cart through all snow.

About 4 or 5 new posts full of Christmasy recaps follow this so when you have some time, if you're interested, read on...

By the way, I broke these next recappy posts up so if you do want to read them, it's easier to find where you might've left off. It's my gift to you. :)

As much as I love snow, I think I'd totally hate being a grown up in it. LOL. So much extra work!

I don't know from experience, but I can totally imagine how difficult that might have been. The nicer grocery store definitely has their act together...front door loading service. Wow! Wish places here did that year round.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I got my cart stuck in the Meijer parking lot one time. Not fun!
