Definitely a white Christmas here. I think the Weather Channel informed us that it was our snowiest Christmas ever. Lots of snow. Allllllll day.
Easton woke up early. Before 7:00. He was so excited. We went potty and I gave him some juice and he said, "Should I go downstairs?" and I told him, "Not yet...let's wait for Daddy and Dalton" and he was so agreeable, "Okay!" and he went and sat in our bed to drink his juice and watch TV just like any other day. We waited for J to get out of the shower:

Because we had plans for brunch at my moms in a few hours we actually had to wake poor Dalton up. He wasn't quite ready for his close-up:

But he quickly came around:

Jason, an only child, asked if Santa had to do tags for the brothers. I grew up with sisters and it was never an issue that I can remember about what Santa left for who. And once Easton caught sight of the loot he knew as well, he pointed and said, "That's for Dalton" and then went kinda slowly to check out his drums:

Dalton got a cute little mirror:

In addition to "his own little Pablo" clad in a Santa suit:

He also got this push/ride along hippo that sweeps up some plastic block shapes it came with. However he is not used to walking along with something:

Perhaps just to ride on for now?

And Dalton shows us that accidents can happen, even with close parental supervision:

Easton checks out the tenty fort that Santa left for both boys:

And as I mentioned before, Easton was quite concerned that Dalton enjoy his stuff. And E didn't mind enjoying it too:

He even went and got last night's loot to make sure Dalton was enjoying himself:

This video was taken just after Easton stopped to ask, "Did Dalton like his Pablo?" Then I started the camera for any more heart-warming moments. Didn't get that so much but the drumming and all is cute to see...
D does much better with pushing his hippo if someone holds onto him:

And E tries to pry the mouth of his FurReal Chimp open to give him the bottle of milk:

After the big Santa gifts we moved onto our stockings:

"Socks???" Good thing they were Buzz Lightyear socks:

A viewmaster. Classic.

And he scored a Diego watch. I love this proud expression he's got:

Easton can't tell time, perhaps that's obvious but I thought I'd say it just in case. He only knows "7" because that's when he's allowed to wake up and he knows "3". Except he doesn't really know it. He gets it confused with E as it's a backwards 3 (digitally, of course). He sees it and says, "It's E. For Easton." But he likes to wear rubber bands around his wrist and calls it a watch, so it was time for a real watch. Said Santa.
Then it was D's turn. He scored some of those Todoodles paints:

And some new books:

He was excited to see a mesh feeder and popped it right into his mouth thinking it was something to eat. You can see J's "I'm sad for him but he's so cute" face:

And the cool "O Ball" filling out the toe, with the sucked on feeder:

My turn:

I scored some cool things I had been asking for: new white socks, a Eurosealer, an iSlice, and some suprises like candy and the new Eagles CD. Available exclusively at Wal-Mart. That means Jason actually went to Wal-Mart!!! On his own!!! He must REALLY love me. :) He is so not a fan of going to Wal-Mart.
J's turn:

He also got new white socks and candy and a Starbucks gift card and coffee beans he likes. Stockings are fun.
Blitz took some time to try to eat the plastic tree:

After the Santa Stuff we took a break for a quick breakfast. Otherwise we wouldn't have had anything till brunch at my moms but we had a lot more Christmasing to do. So I'd made some coconut bread just for that purpose:

We gobbled up our breakfast...Easton hardly touched his food but spent a bit of time with his new "video watch" as he calls it and his ViewMaster.
Then it was back to "Easton's living room" for the wrapped stuff. Woo hoo! I'm just getting warmed up! :)

How can there be even more? Such a full, fun morning already!
Let me see if I can even remember all the things I wanted to comment on...
How did you find such a perfect song for that snow video?!?! Love white Christmases. So glad we had one too.
Love that mirror that Dalton got. He is so cute, checking himself out. Also great to see the Drummer Boy in action again. He is so good on those things!!
J's mesh feeder face made me laugh. As did his coffee bean picture. :)
You guys are big sock fans, huh. Guess that's like my bunch and toothbrushes. For some reason we always get a toothbrush in our stocking.
Did not know that Jason was anti Wal-Mart. Interesting... :) I may have to see about getting the Eagles CD for myslef. Love them too!
Oh and those jammies. In case I haven't mentioned it before...they are the absolute cutest!
Oh it was snowy here too! It was a good day to stay home which we did. Funny about the tag/no tags thing! We actually wrap Santa's gifts and I buy three different Santa themed wrapping paper rolls. This year Mia was blue, Matt was green and Gillian was red. I still tag them all but I probably don't need to. Looks like they got some good stuff! You guys too! Gotta love the socks in the stocking!
Thanks for being so thorough. Even though I got to see everybody later, it's fun to be a part of the Santa events, too. I felt like I was at your house. You do such a nice job and having pictures of J and you adds to the festivities. Moo
