Last night we went out for dinner at Sweet Tomatoes (again) and met up with our friends Baby John, Baby John's parents, and Baby John's twin brothers (who are the babies now). Hadn't seen them in awhile so it was nice to socialize a bit. We're not very social people. :)

When we got home, Easton had some mail from his new pen pal:

Very exciting.

We staggered the boys bedtimes last night and it went well. It's the only way that goes well. Both boys even slept till well after 7 this morning although I did have to go in twice with Dalton...once because I kept hearing a banging and he was upside down in the bed near the bookshelf parts and couldn't seem to find a comfy spot in his sleep. Another time he called to go potty. He already had one leg out of his jammies in preparation. :) I love that at not quite two and a half he stays dry many nights but that involves a trip to the potty. That part I don't love. E stays dry through the entire night without having to get up...maybe once a month he'll call for us to take him to the bathroom in the night but Dalton calls nearly every night. Oy.

With two waking from D this time in addition to my own bladder I'm feeling even more tired today than I've felt in awhile. It better not be from anemia. I'm hoping that's getting better with the additional supplementing they've got me doing...other "systems" seem to believe I'm on plenty of iron and we'll just leave it at that. ;)

Today's laziness has kept us home all morning...we did chocolate chip muffins and the boys added drinkable yogurts to their menu. Always helpful, my climber scaled the pantry door jamb to reach a couple straws for them:

Then after a bunch of puzzle-doing I broke out the Hotsling my mom gave me for my birthday to give it a whirl. I had two very willing volunteers:

And they dug out Baby Dupa for some of the smaller baby wearing:

I know it looks like it hits me a little high but it's just my pregnant belly taking up so much of the room in there. I feel confident that it'll be a perfect fit once my super high uterus shrinks back to a more normal size. I can't wait to wear Wabie in it! I also have a Moby I bought off Sheree. I wore the boys in our Snugli but I wanted something(s) a little more newborn friendly for Wabes.

We had some lunch after all the slinging fun and now D is napping, E is trying to occupy himself in "Easton's living room" for his quiet time and I'm looking forward to turning on Toy Story for the kids in a bit and seeing if I can't catch a few Z's on the couch. This morning Easton told me I should rest so he actually might help make that happen. Both boys have been so sweet to me lately...if I'm on the floor they bring me pillows from the couch so I can get more comfortable. And Easton suggesting I rest? They're just precious!

I hope you were able to get a nap on whatever day that was (I have a hard time keeping the days straight when the posts don't pop up daily...although all I'd have to do is look at the actual date, huh?) I got a little cat nap during a Max & Ruby segment this week and although it was super short, it did me a world of good.

What are your thoughts on the Hotsling? Or Hotsling vs Moby? I'm currently shopping for a baby carrier for a gift and am having a hard time deciding. This is another kind that I really like:

I like that shirt you are wearing!

Glad the boys slept better for you the next day!
