So, I neglected to blog those last few days/hours in the hospital. I think I was savoring every last bit of not having to tend to much before we had to come home and face reality. :)
But we didn't stop taking pictures and here's proof...
Here she is looking rather alert:
And Grammy and Grandpa John came to visit:
They also brought Autumn her first dress. I didn't take a picture of it yet but in about 6 months she'll be wearing it for real! It's way cute! Hooray for dresses!
Chillin' at the hospital...I'm betting ESPN was also on in this same picture:
Looking like a picture we have of newborn Dalton (except Dalton didn't wear hats, he was too hot):
Looking like a pudge:
A little smile and her double chin:
I think she looks pathetically sweet in this one. :(
Mama's girl!
Me and all my babes:
Gramoo with two of 'em:
Dalton and sissy:
Taking pictures for AJ:
That wasn't the only reason. :)
This was the day that Autumn's jaundice was catching up with her...her bilirubin levels weren't high enough to require phototherapy or anything yet, but boy did she get lethargic as the day went on. We had a hard time getting her interested in nursing and so one of the recommendations was some kangaroo care...we loved doing this skin-to-skin with Easton and it was super sweet with Autumn too:
However, it still didn't quite do the trick and the doctor ended up telling us we needed to supplement (with my own milk was fine, though!) but I had to pump and Jason had to try to give her a bottle of my expressed milk:
She wasn't too down with it:
So we had to call the nurse in to force it in her:
But she did perk up a bit!
Here we are in our room with a view. Actually, all the postpartum rooms have this same view of the Flatirons:
But my favorite view was when we put baby girl in her first girly outfit:
She's super duper precious, especially in person:
Okay...that oughta tide you over for a bit. There's been lots more from our trip home till tonight with her first bow...but I gotta get this girlie some milk and we both need our beauty rest. After these Percocets kick in, that is. I think I overdid it today. Oops. I said I wasn't going to do too much like I did post-Dalton and here I go again. Poo on me.

She's so very cute! Love the dress!
Kelli
Thanks for showing off your precious baby girl. Looking forward to seeing her grow.
Be careful that you allow yourself to recover fully. I over did it with Seth and ended up with Celulitus.
Yay I needed my Autumn fix and this should hold me over for a day or two. Love all the pics and so glad you're both home and doing well. Now take it easy this weekend!
Is it wrong that I am a bit sad thinking this is your last baby - you make such cute/great ones! I am still so excited for your family and its girl baby addition. Can't wait to start hearing all the fun E/D stories that involve the pretty pretty princess :)
She's a darling!
You better take it easy, don't want you having any complications!
First, don't over do it dear Kristin!
Second, do you think I can catch a plane today to come hold that SWEET baby?! Oh, the chubby chin and cheeks are too much!
You are one uber blessed lady =)
She really IS beautiful! Thanks for sharing her with us! Aren't little girls just the best! (So are little boys, but there is just something so incredibly precious about having a girl!) Rejoicing with you!
Again, she's adorable! I just want to squeeze those cheeks of hers. Why don't you live closer!? Our older kids would have a great time together, I could snuggle baby Autumn for you and you guys could take a nap - it'd be perfect! ;-)
She is soooooo beautiful. And she looks adorable in her dress. You are going to have so much fun and I can tell Jason already is.
