Happy New Year!

Or Happy Deuce Year as we've been cleverly saying 'round here. 'Tis true...our new little son will be arriving this year. Whoa!

Back to yesterday, here is Easton and I before we left for Baby Boogie:

Baby Boogie was just alright. Easton enjoyed himself playing the various instruments they had out or with the bubble machine when we'd celebrate the New Year on the hour at some faraway city (once it was Rome). They also brought out a parachute:

I had to help him hang on because it kept getting ripped out of the little shorty's hands.

They also had a tent and tunnels set up. He liked that as well.

It was a pizza joint but J and I shared quesadillas and poor J did most of the Easton wrangling so I could chat with some of my mom friends. That was nice. When we left we heard on the radio that the danged Broncos lost and therefore their season is over. Oh well. How 'bout them Saints?...

We came home and played for a little bit. Easton was a cute little snugglebug:

Or as he called himself, "Snugglebub". Click the pic for a video.

He also did a "Happy New Year" pose with Jason just before he headed up to bed:

Jason and I stayed up and watched a Supernanny on TiVo before putting in our movie but someone (me) fell asleep about 30 minutes in. So, Jason woke me up about 10 till midnight and then we went up to bed and turned on the tube right around midnight to ring in the year. Our neighbors had their own stupid loud fireworks celebrations going on so I was up till 1 listening to all that and sirens. Lovely. This morning Jason said, "Good thing you got a head start on the sleep." Guess so. We all slept in till just after 8 and have had a quiet morning here at home. Naptime was awful but oh well. I stayed strong today. Gotta start the new year off right. I don't have any real resolutions to share. I haven't made any. And on that note I bid you adieu...farewell!

Those pictures are so cute.

And from the other day--the difference in your face is unbelievable. I'm glad everything is going so well.

Love ya'll!
