I made it to 33 weeks and 2 days!!! This is the most pregnant I've ever been in my whole life! I'm so excited to have reached this goal...we have goals to go much further, but still! Woo hoo! I'm still pregnant, I have no signs of an impending premature delivery, I'm not on bedrest, and the only "issue" is the swelling I've had but it's stayed confined to my cankles (yes, cankles)! Can you feel the excitement, people? Can you?
Since about 8:09 a.m. yesterday I couldn't get over how I'd made it further than I did with Easton. I can't believe E was born by now...it's so soon! But indeed he came at 33 weeks 1 day at 8:08 a.m. and he was clearly not ready. Most kiddos at that gestation do much better than he did. But, that's all in the past and we're focusing on the fact that I'm still pregnant this time around. Yippee!
To celebrate I'm getting a massage today. Okay, it's not really to celebrate as much as it's a coincidince that my mom is off but it will certainly help it feel special--I hope--the massage today will be from a dude. I've never had a professional massage by a man before but I'm willing to give it a shot. This is from the gift certificate that my sister Jessica gave me back in July (for my birthday) when they just found out I was preggers. I was waiting to use it till about now. I'm really looking forward to it so I hope this guy is a winner. I'm doing the massage today so Gramoo (who is off for MLK day) can watch Easton for me. I'm just glad it's going to be a true "prenatal massage". During Easton's pregnancy Jason gave me a prenatal massage certificate too and I hung onto it for when I got really uncomfortable late in the pregnancy...only I never made it that far and had to do a "post natal" instead. :) Not this time! Yay!
Anyhoo...given my recent lack of posting, "other Kristin" left me a comment that asked how you all out in blog land might know if things were okay or needing prayers and such and I think Jason would be able to pop on for a "guest blog" appearance if something were up. Our hospital has kiosks with internet access and if we plan ahead we can also use our own laptop there...so no worries...you'll be kept up to date on a "need to know" basis. Ha ha ha.
Okay, well, that's enough from me for this morning. Gotta get down to A-town (Aurora--where my mom lives) for the manly rub down. YAY! I'm still pregnant! Bye!
