Here I Am

Everyone else is at the park. I stayed behind for laundry and dishes and blogging purposes. :)

Sorry about yesterday, it was a busy day as it is. As always, Thursdays mean school for Easton and Diddles and I did our regular breakfast and AussieROO class followed by a stop at Target before picking up Bubba. We came home expecting to find Mimi and Pa-Paw in the driveway but they weren't here just yet. In fact, Jason working a half day still beat them here. They showed up a little after noon, I guess, and we just hung around the house for a bit, stopping for lunch and a nap for D.

While Dalton napped, the rest of us played Wii:

Easton is showing off his new hat I bought him the other day:

Very excited Pa-Paw is here:

It must be kinda cool to have that "generations" thing. I don't appreciate as much with, say, my grandma, as I bet I would if I were holding my offspring's offspring but who knows.

After Dalton woke up:

Jason took them down to the basement and right then (3:30) some workers showed up for the day. We weren't going to be hanging around though...we drove over to our friend's townhouse where Mimi and Pa-Paw are staying to get them settled and show them where it is! Then we headed out for one of our favorite dinners: Sweet Tomatoes. We parted ways after dinner, after a few days on the road, Mimi and Pa-Paw were looking to get cleaned up and well-rested.

So, once we arrived back home (6:30 as the basement amigos were leaving) the boys still had some time to play baseball:

Then we headed up for bed where we found the boys in D's rocking chair reading their Bible:

Precious.

This morning Carol and Gary didn't get to our house till a little after 10:00. We hung out for a bit, Easton as Spiderman, and then off they all just walked to the park. It looks like it's a nice day. I'll have to get the report later as I've kept myself stuck inside. The laundry is calling my name.

Till tomorrow...

Awww, not fun having to stay back and do "work". I hope you have a wonderful visit with them.

I always like staying back to do work. Something about the peace and quiet. Ahhhh.

That photo of the boys and the Bible is SO sweet!
