It's Monday...and that's always sad when Jason has to go back to work. We like having him home with us for the weekends and this past one was certainly no exception. It started off Saturday morning with swimming lessons for Easton. It's not so fair to bring Dalton who is not currently enrolled in lessons because he wants to get in instead of watch so he and I stayed home.

We left it up to Easton who was going to take him to class. He did "Eeny meeny moe" to "decide" however the last five points or so were right at me, "And you are not it" *point*point*point*point*point*. Ha! So, yeah, Jason took him and Diddles and I stayed home and vaccuumed and added the boys' summer clothes to their respective closets. Holy moly does Dalton still have waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many clothes!!! His closet is completely full now that we still have the cool weather stuff out AND there still isn't room for all his stuff. If Wabie is a Woy I shudder to think how many clothes that kid will have...because he'll get all the hand-me-downs plus people (ourselves included) feel bad and buy him his own stuff too. Seriously it is insane how many things he has. I'm not sure I'll have to do laundry for him all summer! :) I even packed up a bunch of stuff that I don't really like and probably wouldn't put him in...like bright blue sweat pants. Why would anyone wear those anyway? :) Oh wait, unless they were trying to entertain themselves during paternity leave...

Then poor Easton...I had him trying on some shorts and when he was done he flung them off his foot where he had to go pick them up...however when he bent down to pick them up he bonked his chin on his little chair and cut it. :( Good thing we had a fresh box of Transformers band-aids handy.

After nap and quiet time we decided to drive down to check out a kids furniture store...we're needing to get serious about the bunk beds and since we refinanced and don't have a house payment this month it's the perfect time to think about such big purchases. So, off we went, the boys had a blast checking out all the cool stuff:

I think this is our current front runner:

The furniture store happens to be close-ish to my mom and Lauren so we stopped by there when we were done. The boys have been asking and asking to see them so they were very excited to play at Gramoo's. Gramoo even treated us to Jason's Deli delivery. Mmmmmmmm!

Sunday morning we had church but somehow the boys still had enough time beforehand to put on costumes for breakfast:

We had skipped church with my ear stuff last week and so drop off this week wasn't so great. Dalton was pouty and Easton wasn't much better. In fact, after I left him I peeked back inside and he was hiding! Luckily I saw someone notice him and get him involved. They were both just fine again when we picked them up and each had made a new hat:

Then we were off to another church!

Easton's class was scheduled to sing "Amigos de Cristo" at the church attached to his school. However, we sooooooooooooo did not want to stay for the whole service. We sat in the very back row with our neighbors who also chose to skip out immediately following the kids' performance. I'm sorry but, we'd just been to church, we aren't Lutheran, and our kids were expected to sit with us (presumably quietly) during the service and they were a little churched-out too. We brought stickers and coloring supplies but Dalton doesn't get the whole whispering thing and kept wanting to talk to Ben next to him.

However, the performance was cute...Easton did great he was front and center for their very very long song. Then we left.

Lunchtime!

After naps and quiet time we headed out for some more family shopping. More bunk bed browsing, and then we bought some storage stuff for the basement at the hardware store, some new sheets at Bed, Bath & Beyond (where the checker told me it looks like I'm having a girl) and then off to the pet store.

Blitz has been clawing at a particular spot on our new carpet. Grrrrrrrrrrr! We keep his nails short but cats are cats, I guess. However, we wanted to get him a scratching post so we went looking for one. Easton favored the kitty jungle gym styles and took his browsing very seriously:

Diddles just diddled around:

I was too nauseous to really think much about dinner and Jason took full advantage by picking up some seafood for himself (since I won't eat it) and made himself a shrimp po' boy back home. Dalton went for the pirate engineer look while J cooked:

This morning I find that I'm still deaf in the one ear. I have a week to go before following up with the ENT, though. The boys and I went and snagged our weekly doughnuts then sat around messing around on the computer and the Wii the entire morning because I was still feeling nauseated:

We'll have to be much more productive this afternoon.

love that bunk bed...very cool!

Cameron always plays on that same little kid excercise equipment at our local baby superstore. lol

Hope you're feeling a little less queasy today.

When I saw Dalton on the first bed posted, I thought it was a baby doll on top of a changing table!

Bunk beds, FUN! KayTar just sleeps on a toddler bed in BubTar's room. LOL.

The costumes are very cute...especially the engineer pirate.

The boys are going to have so much fun with their new beds. I wonder how long it will take for the excitement to wear off enough for them to actually sleep?!

PS: I can't believe E was that LITTLE when I was reading your blog. I remember the blue sweats, but I don't remember him looking like such a baby! Awww.
