Our cutie-patootie Dalton Cole with his little hands in his pockets on Sunday afternoon:
Monday morning the boys wanted to play outside...only there was a dead, headless squirrel back there!!! I contemplated leaving it for Jason but I know he likes to think of me as some capable, independent person--plus the boys wanted to play. So I took care of it. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeew! It was sooooo disgusting. I was terrified the head was still back there somewhere for the boys to find, so far nothing's turned up. Then Jason called saying he was coming home sick. He probably wouldn't have been up to picking up the squirrel any more than I was wanting to but I did get some major props for doing it myself! :)
With J now on his way home, the boys and I headed up to the mall...I wasted no time in exchanging these confusing shorts:
Unfortunately I couldn't find any just like 'em in any size. Strange because Jason was there just a few days before. Oh well.
While at that mall we always like to include a stop at the Disney store. Can you tell my kid enjoys costumes? Already wearing his Spidey suit and putting on some Tinker Bell wings!
We also like to peek at the pet store too. Dalton enjoyed watching some frisky kittens in the window.
Tuesday was another great drop-off at school for E...and he's only got 2 more days of classes left! I think he'll do fine for drop-off the rest of the year hee hee! I got to buy the art I "won" from the auction...$5 for this, "Mommy is My Friend" of he and I at the park:
However, I think I may prefer this one sitting in his folder for free when I picked him up:
The title isn't as cute, though, I'll give you that. :) How cool is his still life? I could tell what everything was! Um, and if you can't it's your typical still life fruit choices...a pear near the top, an orange, an apple, a couple of bananas, and some grapes. A masterpiece!
Easton was the one who brought snack Tuesday morning. When you bring snack you get to invite someone to join you at the snack table. He told me he picked, "Mallory, because she looked pretty!" A little girlfriend? He and Mallory have not been little pals in the past, but she is pretty cute. I just like that he picked her because she looked pretty. :)
Tuesday afternoon was our splash pad outing. We got home and Jason made his own dinner...fish! While we were cooking Dalton had to have a time-out and I forgot about him being in the corner! He was in there for about 6 minutes till the oven timer went off and E said, "Dalton's getting up!" Oops!!!!! Darn pregnancy brain sometimes!
Wednesday Carson was here, we blew some bubbles:
Sometimes I just really really despise my current camera...I rarely get a good picture in this part of the living room:
Several people have recommended them to me, but Gymboree brand bubbles are pretty amazing. Look at how they hold up!
We bought a small bottle to help us spend enough to earn some Gymbucks recently. :)
And quite the inventor, Easton came up with some make-shift rollerskates for himself and "skated" all around the living room:
Once Carson's mom came to pick him up (he's only coming back one more time!) we headed out to grab a few groceries. Easton was told if he could behave super well he could earn back the Transformer that was confiscated after his JCPenney disaster. He did really well and kept checking in with me throughout the store, "Mom, am I still being great?" Tee hee! He wasn't just acceptable or even "normal"...he really did do great so he earned it back. Yay!
Today being Thursday meant school again for E. And Dalton and I did our usual as well. It's fun, pretty much every time we pick up Easton he politely inquires about our time away, "So, what did you guys do?" or "Did you have a good morning?" I love it. He does it with his Dad too when we sometimes see him mid-day, "So, how's your day going at work?" Such a sweetheart. But anyway, Dalton and I had done quite a few things and Easton asked about my answers too, "What was Dalton's show and tell?" (at Roo) or "What books were you looking for?" (at the bookstore). I just love him!
Anyway, that about wraps it up for now. Till next time...

I have forgotten about Seth while he was in time out once before too. I felt soooo bad! So now I sit on the couch watching the clock (2 minutes).
I'm totally in awe of the 'still life' picture! How cool!
That drawing is GREAT! Good job, Easton!
You know, that IS what would happen if Spiderman was also bit by a radioactive butterfly...that would be one awesome hybrid hero.
I love, love, love Easton's drawings. What an artiste!
And I had no idea Gymboree made bubbles. Must look into this.
