A Great Night!

Dalton didn't throw up last night. And Autumn woke only once (at an appropriate time) to eat. How lovely. I think I've still got some catching up to do on my sleep but isn't that always the case for a mom with 3 small people?

Now that I have less to say about illnesses today we can talk about other things...like the pictures I have saved up. There's this cute one from Monday:

Easton tried telling me Autumn climbed up on him but I don't buy it. :)

We did some PlayDoh during quiet time on Tuesday:

I also watched the Duggar's "Special Delivery" Tuesday afternoon and the boys found a way to entertain themselves for that bit of time...mostly they played Moon Sand:

But Dalton also found Autumn's discarded headband:

Wednesday morning Dalton followed me into Autumn's room to get her up for the day but decided she was "too stinky" and went to hide in her closet instead:

But I got her changed and dressed...she was in a new outfit:

Looks cute there, doesn't it? I bought it with tags still on it at a second hand store. The ankles were so tight I thought they were cutting off her circulation to her feet. The outfit really looked more like this...

...with her belly all hanging out and the pants too long but too tight. I was gonna change her but she beat me to it and poo'd on it anyway. :)

She looked much cuter in her new guitar shirt:

See how she's not swaddled there? We still swaddle and plan to continue for awhile but she was super tired and I didn't want her to have too long a nap because we needed to leave to get Easton before long. So she slept like that:

And it wasn't a long nap just like I knew it wouldn't be. That girl ♥'s her swaddle.

In the afternoon, Dalton kept saying that he wanted some water, then he'd go to the sink and drink out of it like the cat:

Water in a cup or water bottle makes him shudder...what a weirdo.

And here's Easton in his newest costume:

We bought it right after Halloween and saved it for his birthday. But right around then he decided he was really scared of Darth Vader (probably because he kills Obi Wan which is who Easton is in the Star Wars cast). He doesn't outright say he's scared but we know. We're onto him. :) So, when I've pulled out the Darth Vader shirt he got for Christmas he picks something else...and he would NOT put that costume on. He kept it in the package and shoved it on a bottom shelf in his room. But last night he put it on for the first time. We were so proud of him.

This morning the boys have been in the basement since before breakfast. We have the whole new finished basement and all but we rarely play down there. So I was very excited that they've been down there so much today.

Anyway, Dalton isn't night trained as far as the potty goes so in the mornings we take off the diaper and let him run around commando in his jammies till we get dressed or whatever. But as we're having a lazy morning at home Autumn gave me a hand bringing some undies to Dalton:

The boys got a big kick out of that.

More playing:

Easton worked really hard on following a picture to make a particular K'Nex creature:

Yay!

My two look-alikes cuddled:

Fun with tape!

Kinda hard to see the tape at first, isn't it? Bet that one made a lot of you do a double take, huh? :)

And even though we're talking about getting rid of this thing, the boys were trying to play with the train table and Easton was trying to assemble the tracks himself. I took pity on him and did it while they enjoyed a picnic lunch and watched me. We'll see how long it lasts. Dalton's a bit of a destructo when it comes to the train table.

Well there ya go...the very latest happs from here. The end.
