Rub a Dub Dub, Three Kids in the Tub

This was from tonight and I just had to share. I just love the look of pure joy on both boys faces from having their sister in the tub with them for the first time (without her in a seat, that is).

How my cup overfloweth. I am so blessed tonight.

Randomness

So yeah...my old camera broke. It broke the day after I bought a new camera. Crazy how that happens but I'm way bummed because I was hoping to still have a decent point and shoot for my purse and such.

My new camera is a DSLR that I have been hoping to get for, like, 3-4 years. Seriously. Actually, my mom was going to get me an SLR back in the days of film and I was too lame to ever pick it out. I've always had an interest in photography...if I only had the natural talent.

Anyhoo...

The new camera will not talk to Vista (stupid Vista!!!). Stupid Vista is what is on my laptop for now soooooo it's not easy to upload pictures daily like ya'll were so used to. Hence the biggest reason for my lack of blogging lately.

However, I do have some pictures I can share today and you can expect some more random catch up as the days go on. It might be a bunch at once. Sorry.

Autumn modeling another adorable hand-me-down. This one is from Izzy, I think.


And Autumn has become a fan of the cat.

However, she pulls his tail and her feelings get hurt when he "yells" at her. Kinda cute, really. She's sensitive.

I love that those two have each other. From the above picture, I think they're happy to have each other too!

I had a bunch of hangers laying on the floor after my Just Between Friends shopping...and my imaginative little guys hooked them onto the backs of their shirts so they had wings:

And back to my girlie, she has taken more of an interest in non-pureed foods. She ate some little bits of mango and a few Gerber puffs.






She looks like she doesn't love it here, but she was just surprised, I think. She did well.


Not only has she taken more of an interest in eating food, but in cooking it as well:




And even though she's not yet crawling forward, she's still quite mobile and can get where she wants to go.

Train Party

Dalton's little buddy (Holten) celebrated his 3rd birthday yesterday at the railroad museum. After church, Jason took Autumn home and the boys and I got to go hang out with friends and climb on all the trains.






Easton is in class with Tabor (Holten's big sister) and Jacob who has a little brother Sam. Sam will be in preschool with Dalton and Holten next year. So we got to hang out with some of our little friends.

And Jacob takes a particular liking to Easton's 3 year old brother rather than his own 3 year old brother. Always has.

Jacob is going to stay at their current school for kindergarten next year (Tabor too) but poor Easton is going to have to go to public school, however, I'm so glad their younger siblings will all be in preschool together next year so I can stay in touch with these families. Jacob is probably the coolest 5 year old I know. I really love that kid. He's a middle child so he reminds me a lot of easy-going Dalton. He's super sweet and funny and smart. Yay for Jacob! (And his mom doesn't even read my blog to hear me saying all that.)
