Saturday Highlights...

- The boys and I picked up bagels with a coupon this morning so we could be out of J's way for a bit

- We are now the proud owners of a pipe snake

- My kitchen floor is super santiary

- The boys made Halloween stick puppets

- I rode the train to go to the Home Decorating and Remodeling Show at the Convention Center with my mom.

- Easton colored a fabulous card for his birthday party this evening:

-Dalton colored this:

Which Easton said, "Dalton drew a beautiful rocket!" and then went to get some tape to display it on the fridge.

- Easton went to his pretend slumber party birthday party, only 3 other kids from Mrs. M's class were there...including the birthday boy. The whole class was invited.

- Dalton ate a bunch of tuna for dinner!

- Easton was in the final two (of about 12 kids) for musical sleeping bags. He lost to the 6 year old.

- Easton really wanted to sleep at the party, even though I'd told him many times it was a pretend sleepover party. However he wouldn't have wanted me to leave. He flipped out because I rushed upstairs to find a missing kid during "Happy Birthday". Later he told me he thought everyone was just singing too loud. Yeah right.

- The birthday boy's mom is a "baby planner". That so sounds like something I'd want to do, doesn't it? Babies? Planning? Researching the best gear? Sign me up!

That is such a cute party idea!! In my experience, that how it goes with parties where you invite everyone, just a handful show up. I actually COUNT on that. LOL. I don't want to exclude anyone, but I don't really want 16 kids there plus the family kids (8 or so).

The pipe snake sounds like the beginning of an interesting story. Is there more to come on that?

Easton did a GREAT job coloring that birthday card! Glad you guys had fun at the party.

What an eventful day! No pictures of the pipe snake? And barely anyone showed up for the birthday party. That is so sad.

Easton did a great job coloring his birthday card. How special.
