Good As New

My tooth...this morning I went back in for my cleaning and my permanent veneer. Other than calling yesterday and asking if I could come in at 7:30 instead of 7:00 it went well enough. 'Bout time.

I was initially a little nervous about my veneer, something about it just seems off. I realize it's a fake tooth and it's never going to look exactly like my original, but I had to decide whether it was close enough or not. And just wanting to be done with them, I decided it was close enough. Now that it's in my mouth I feel even better about it. But dude, they gave me a few options if I later decide I'm unhappy with it, one of them includes braces. Wha????

Jason stayed with the boys this morning while I was at the dentist and got Easton off to school and such. I guess he'd cried a little. But today Isaac's mom stayed to observe the class and filled me in that Easton did great, but he did cry a little at the very beginning. She said he participates and such, like raising his hand to answer questions and singing along, which she said Isaac doesn't do. Isaac's apparently more of an observer. I'm really wanting to sit in on the class too sometime very soon. Gotta figure out something for Dalton first, though. Any volunteers? :)

After the dentist I came home, showed off my grill, then saw Jason off to work. It wasn't long before Dalton and I left to go get Bubbs. Easton was excited to see me. He was not excited when I told him we had to run to Wal-Mart for a few things I forgot yesterday. I told him we could get a juice or apple dippers with our McD's coupons and he said, "I have juice at home." Apple dippers it was. And as they don't allow carts inside their McDonald's, Easton went into the McDonald's by himself with Dalton and I observing from the doorway. He walked right up, smacked his coupon down on the counter and waited for them to do what they do. He was so proud to walk back to us, bag of apple dippers in hand. Cutie. He's getting to be so big. Not even 2 months before he turns 4. Ack!!!

We came home for lunch, but really Dalton just throws crap on the floor and drinks milk. I don't even know why I bother fixing him lunch sometimes. Ugh. Now they're doing quiet time. I think this afternoon we'll be running to the post office. Maybe something else, I'm not sure.

Oh, and we'll have to return our Redbox. I'm embarassed to admit it, but Mondays are heavier TV days around here. In the morning we have our doughnut picnic breakfast in front of a TV show, the boys watch another show while I figure out the weeks coupons and deals and make my shopping list and my Monday chore of sweeping and mopping the floors. They watch another show while I unload and unpack the groceries and make lunch. Then they usually watch their Redbox in the afternoon while I make dinner and whatnot. Yesterday was no exception and while I made 5 pans of enchiladas they watched their TinkerBell with some popcorn:

Oh, and before I forget, Blitz made a new "friend". I was wondering what he was hissing about and pounding on the sliding glass door with his head:

Almost looks like a reflection, huh? Blitz was none too happy, enemy was more like it.

Tune back in later as I plan to finally respond to Julie's tag from weeks ago. Till then...

Yo, woman, where do you get your free redbox codes from? Are they only good on Mondays?

By the way, your boys are very cute and I'm always laughing at your blog (in a good way)! We'll have to get together again here soon.
Love, Kelli

I am so glad your tooth situation is over but braces? Cha-ching?

5 pans of enchiladas? Not 4? But so yummy. My mom does a vegetarian one for me and it is one of my favorite meals.

Easton is such a big boy to order his own meal. Great Job!

What did they think of Tink? My mom (the big sucker) bought KayTar a second copy when we got home from the hospital. She just loooves it.

Enchiladas sound super good right now. My mouth is actually watering just thinking about it.

What a relief that your veneer is all done and looks good. I was expecting a pic though. :)

I hate that Easton's preschool drop off still involves some tears, but at least he does okay once he gets settled in. Better than okay actually...sounds like he does great!

There are some days that involve a lot of tv viewing over here as well. Something I try NOT to do, but some days you just need it.
