By Easton
We're just sitting here waiting for ol' Dizzle to wake up so we can go get our groceries. This morning Easton told me "Want to go shopping" so I told him we could go after his nap...he doesn't need to know I was planning on it anyway.
So, my mom asked in her comment about how the boys are feeling. They seem mostly fine in their attitudes and activities and such but they've got boogie noses and coughs. The coughs are worse than they were a few days ago. Oh well. I'm not sweating it this time although the extra phlegm seems to make Dalton spit up even more (if that's possible) and Easton even yakked at dinner on Monday. Otherwise they're pretty unscathed. Yay.
Dalton woke up so late yesterday that he was still down for his first nap when Easton went down for his nap. So I had enough time to do yesterday's blog and then Dalton woke up and we had some lovely one-on-one time. He did some tummy time:
And the extreme close-ups are always fun:
Since he's a good stander I propped him against Easton's chair:
After all that stimulation he sometimes needs a minute to relax and re-center. So I hold him real close and he sucks on his paci for a bit till he's ready for more:
And once Easton woke up too...I had to discourage (BAN!) this game:
That's a chair heading for the opened basement door. I did however let him do this one a few times:
How have we managed to avoid the emergency department so far?
Anyway...
The other night Jason encouraged another rousing round of "I see bread people" only this time with other foods and he got Easton to eat a TON. Here are a few highlights:
And with that I gotta run...The Dizz-man is up and it's time for milk and Wal-Mart. Bye!

I am starting to see possible ER visits in our future. Wren is turning into quite the climber as well.
I see your reading Time Travelers Wife..tell me what you think. I thought about reading that one...but ya know me I am still churning through the HP series for the second time. I am in deep right now- can not think about anything else. All I want to do is read, read , read. And thats not what I get to do. Boo Hoo
LOL...We often ask ourselves the same question about how we have avoided the ER for so long (touch wood)! :) The boys are growing up so fast!! I can't believe how big Dalton is...so darn adorable!!! And E...the little stunt man that he is!! Too cute!! :)
Holy cow, look at those legs! No wonder Dalton can stand so well, those legs are like tree trunks! Trust me I say this in awe, Lila's legs are maybe half that size!
Ack! I thought I left a comment yesterday. I got sucked into Lonelygirl13 and must have gotten distracted, your post was still up on my screen. *lol* I have 51 new blog posts to read in my Bloglines right now! Agh!
We've never been to the ER with Nathan had he is by far the more active of the two. I bet it was nice having Dalton up and getting a little one on one time with the handsome dude.
I couldn't get the video to work...I'll have to try again later. Bummer!
Just wanna say that I LOVE D's chunky thighs. They are so cute!
We can't get the video to work either. I thought it might just be my computer, plus since I never comment I didn't want to be a whiner. We are redoing the shrine wall in the hall so I have been getting new pictures from the blog.
Hard to choose though, since they never take a bad one.

I really thought I responded to this one again last night. Ooops! Yes the video does work for me now. Yay!
It is a fantastic idea to get E to eat all his bites. We'll have to give it a try here. Also gotta say "Silly dad...Don't you recognize Pablo when you see him?" lol
