The Man Show

That is what Jason called it when I told him AJ tagged me for a blog about My Man. What fun.



1. Who is your man? Jason, obviously.


2. How long have you been together? Just over 4 years.

3. How long did you date? Jason proposed after exactly 7 months of dating, we married after 9 months of being a couple...kinda quick, I know.

4. How old is your man? 34

5. Who eats more? Oh me for sure. I like to eat a lot of food. Gotta love breastfeeding and pregnancies.


6. Who said "I love you" first? Jason both hinted at it first and actually said it first.


7. Who is taller? Most of you would not have to ask that. I've got a full 5 inches on him.




8. Who sings better? J is the singer...but he's got an ideal range which he sometimes forgets. He likes to sing BeeGees which is not my favorite thing to hear him try to do. But it is funny.


9. Who is smarter? Jason is smarter than me. But if you want to get technical like AJ I most definitely beat him on the ACTs, though.

10. Whose temper is worse? Yeah, that would be me. Although being with Jason has rubbed off on me a little and I don't have quite the temper I used to.

11. Who does the laundry? Me! I love laundry, actually. But Jason has no problem starting a load after some of D's blowouts or E's blow chunks. And Jason always does the dinner dishes so I've got that going for me.

12. Who takes out the garbage? Jason's the one that takes the can to the curb but we both take out the actual bags of trash.

13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? When laying in bed, I'm on the right. But it's not that important to me. When traveling I can sleep on either side.

14. Who pays the bills? Jason does the bills.

15. Who is better with the computer? My man for sure.

16. Who mows the lawn? I have never mowed a lawn in my life.

17. Who cooks dinner? Usually me. Jason has a few great dishes up his sleeve and he offers to cook on occasion. We see my cooking as part of my "job" as a stay-at-home mom. At the beginning of our relationship Jason cooked most of the time. Or eating out as new daters like to do.


18. Who drives when you are together? Usually Jason drives but if we pick him up for lunch at work or something we don't switch drivers and get out of the car or anything.

19. Who pays when you go out? It's usually Jason who plops down our credit card but really it's whoever's hands are least full with the boys.

20. Who is most stubborn? Me. Jason is super easy going...guess Dizzle gets that from him.


21. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? If I am truly wrong then I'll be the first to admit it. I just try really hard to not be wrong :)

22. Whose parents do you see the most? We see my mom the most. She lives the closest.

23. Who kissed who first? Oh, Jason did. He said, "You know...eventually I'm going to have to kiss you." And he did.


24. Who asked who out? We met online in a chat room, Jason is the one who I.M.'d first.

25. Who proposed? Jason. He totally surprised me with his proposal. It was not something I was expecting to happen that day at all.


26. Who is more sensitive? Oh, yeah...me for sure!

27. Who has more friends? We're both rather anti-social but I'd say I have my group of online friends, a few mommy friends, and a few real life friends that I don't keep up with as well as I should. So, anyway, I'd say I have more friends.

28. Who has more siblings? Me. Two sisters. Jason is an only child. Here he is being an only child:


29. Who wears the pants in the family? I'd say Jason wears the pants but maybe I'm the belt that holds them up or something cheesy like that. :) I'd like to say we're pretty equal partners though.
