Monday Morn

Hey there...gosh, when I blog at night like I did yesterday then there's just so little to say at this point.

I already told you Carson would be coming:

His mom dropped him off just after 6 a.m. as usual. This time she brought his car seat so his dad could pick him up later. I can't tell you how excited I was to see it. The second Carson finished his morning bottle and went back to sleep (around 6:30) I slapped on some flip flops and carried his seat out to my car. First step was to figure out if it would even fit with the boys' two seats. It did!!! I was so excited. The next step was flipping the car seat over so I could figure out exactly what kind of seat it is so I could look up the official installation instructions online. That's when the December 2008 expiration date started glaring at me. Oh no! No way would I put a kid in my car in an expired seat...Jason would but this is someone else's kid. In fact, I called Carson's mom first thing to let her know. What a bummer. Still no doughnuts for us.

Instead I decided to tackle a bunch of laundry. Normally I try to do one load per week day. Fridays I do two loads because I do all the sheets and towels on those days and it takes two loads. Anyway, being housebound today the laundry became my new goal. So laundry and a lot of TV for my boys it is.

And "faces" for lunch:

This afternoon we're going to head to Wal-Mart and the free Redbox is calling our name as is the Monday norm.

Off to fold some clothes now. Toodles!

Bummer! So close to escaping, yet so far.

Way to go with noticing the car seat expiration...frustrating I'm sure, but responsible nonetheless.

Cute pics of all three boys!

And to only do 1 load of laundry a day...that would be a dream! I did 4 today and it wasn't even a big laundry day. But 2 were pretty small, so I guess that's a small consolation.

That was so great that you noticed it though. Not many parents even know they expire. Hopefully, she will get a new seat.

I have to start laundry now!
