Mid-Week

Yesterday when Dalton woke up we were able to go play at the mall. 70 degrees outside in mid-March and these wierdos choose to play inside. Yup, that's us, and we had the place to ourselves because of it. :)

Afterwards we made our second Target stop of the day (seriously) and picked up a few things for dinner. I wasn't thinking "festive" at first and had to figure out a few green things to serve at dinner because we sure as heck weren't about to try corned beef for the first time. Ha!

I came up with virgin margaritas with a little extra green food coloring:

And grape shamrocks:

Jason and I enjoyed more of a Cinco de Mayo-type meal rather than anything Irish but oh well. And speaking of, after more than 48 hours without seeing him the boys were excited to be reunited with their pops when he got home from work:

Easton planned to camp out on the new carpet in his sleeping bag last night and that's where we tucked him in but when we went to check on him later he was sound asleep in his bed instead. This morning when he called for me after waking up, he was back down in the sleeping bag. Who knows what that boy was up to???

This morning I was up plenty early again for Carson's arrival. He hasn't been here in a while. Last week with Dalton being sick he didn't come and the week before his mom had a day off, so this is the first the boys have seen him in awhile:

And this is blurry, I know, but it just shows how much my boys love having a silly baby around:

We got some sample baby wipes in the mail the other day and I couldn't get over how much the kid on it reminded me of Carson, hair and all:

Now he's up and it's about time for me to go get Easton out of his room too. I still love that I can get some "me" time even with 3 small people in the house. There's hope for when I'm doing this full time. :)

Does Carson have a secret day job as a baby model? That could TOTALLY be him!

That margarita looks yummy, even if it is virgin! Last night I went to dinner with our ped and got carded and couldn't find my ID. They wouldn't serve me! LOL. I'm still daydreaming about that that sangria!

Hi Kristin - I don't think I've ever commented before...I'm one of your weird lurkers. ;-) Actually I was a fellow Feb 05 mom from BBC. I just wanted to comment on your post prior to this one - I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with a 4 year old obsessed with death. My little guy has been making the same comments and it breaks my heart. I know it's a stage, but it's so hard to hear them say those things!

Your boys are too cute - congrats on your pregnancy!

Ummm, if you look at that baby and Carson its an EXACT match, seriously . Not just a "it reminds me" but a "Whoa, that's freaky." Did you show his mom?!
