As Promised...Pictures!!!

They are all from yesterday after naps (well, one is during E's nap--right before I had to wake him up). When I was at slide.com yesterday making my This Time Last Year slideshow I noticed the fancy "Fun House" presentation so there ya go.

And, yes, we finally made it to Wal-Mart yesterday. We got a bunch of stuff and didn't make it home till after Jason got home. That's late for us. Check out our self-portrait:

Look at me with both at once...That reminds me...yesterday we went to get smoothies with Jason. Dalton and I stayed in the car to nurse and I wanted Easton to go in with J. Jason paused ever so briefly saying, "I don't know if we can carry it all." I'm sure I rolled my eyes or something (a bad habit of mine) because he thought better about it. And they did just fine with the load. I mean, I know he's not a professional mom so you gotta start small :) Love you, Loms!!!

Well, Dalton is even sicker. We were pretty worried about him through the night. He just couldn't stop coughing after one of our nursing sessions. And every time he exhales (when he's awake) he sounds like radio static. But even though he's so sick he's still such a sweet little guy. Makes it even more heartbreaking. Needless to say, I didn't dare take them to Germ Time, oops, I mean Circle Time today. Instead we hopped in the car in our jammies to get doughnuts at the Krispy Kreme drive-through. Because of the jammies (no shoes for E) I loaded both the boys into and out of the car separately. Easton is always so concerned that I'll forget Dalton. It's pretty cute. I love how much he cares about his brother already and their bond is only gonna grow. Dalton loves to watch Easton run and jump around. This is so fun to be a part of. As my pal Molly says about her kiddos, "I gave them the greatest gift: each other." So true.

You know what?!?! My blog turned a year old on the 3rd. I wanted to remember in time but I did not...guess I've got other things on my mind. Last night I went back to read my first few entries....oh, how I've grown. Kidding. But, it was kinda funny to read stuff and remember where Easton was developmentally a year ago and how he amused and impressed us. He has grown a lot in this last year, maybe not size-wise but developmentally. Fun. You can click the links on the side if you want to reminisce with me. And you know you want to.

Well, since we're not doing much I don't have much to discuss. I think I'll finish up this episode of The Real World Denver (I couldn't resist since it was Denver) and then move on to putting together the boys' Easter baskets. I bought the stuff before Dalton was born so I need to see exactly what I have and if I might need anything else to fill 'em up.

Before I go, here is a picture Jason's co-worker took of 3 of us when we went for a visit one day. It was the day Dalton was exactly 3 weeks old and had to go to the doctor for his reflux diagnosis. Easton was at home with Gramoo. Enjoy!

Very creative little slide show. I could actually watch that one at school. No filters, I guess. How did you get so clever? Love those little guys...Moo

I'm pretty sure I saw Dalton blow me a kiss.

Hope the little 'big guy' is feeling better soon!!!

Uh, I am super bad with the eye roll myself. Nothing like marriage to help you work on stopping that one.

That fun house slide show is crazy. Slide.com is always putting up something new.

The picture of you, J and Dalton is very sweet.

I love all the pictures! And I love the "the time last year." Can't get enough pictures! I'll keep praying! My kids were really cute asking questions about how Blitzen is doing...and if I had any pictures. (Well, only one class calls him Blitzen--the rest call him Dalton) And a lot are planning on doing the March of Dimes walk here in May. They have learned a lot of facts this week on prematurity and can spout them out. Impressive, huh? It's a new segment in class called, "Making you a well-rounded individual." The fact about 1 in 8 babies being premature matched when I said raise your hand (if you want to) if you came early and had to stay in the hospital. So they all listened, and they told their stories about what they knew. So...very interesting.
Love ya'll :)
