Naptime = Blogtime

So, after Easton's nap yesterday we did a cool project. Designing his own sippy cup!

During an otherwise unsuccessful trip to Babies R Us we spotted these cool new "create my own" cups by Platex. We recently switched to the leak and spill free cups (Easton wasn't a fan of them at first, remember?) and when I saw 'em I had to get one. They come with several liners...some blank, some to color and Easton went to town creating two of them. A sporty stamped one:

And then colored one of their designs:

He was very proud of the finished product, we went with the one he colored this time:

We could do all kinds of cool things with these cups...printing out stuff from online or photos...my digi scrapping. I might have to pick up another one just to have in circulation.

Then at dinner Easton got to make his own mini pizza:

Just cheese for him. But he ate half of it! He'll have the other half tonight. Well, I should say, the other half will be on his plate tonight. We don't know that he'll actually eat it, the weirdo. The crust is refrigerated biscuit dough rolled flat. Jason and I had them as mini calzones. We got the idea off Food Network's Good Eats. We love that show.

Dalton was a better sleeper last night. He woke at 1 and 5 to eat and I never had to bring him into bed with us. Although this morning he projectile vomited for the very first time and when I say projectile I mean projectile. Ironically it was as I was reading about such things online. You see, I'm not convinced he doesn't have some sort of food allergy to something in my milk. That could explain his refluxy symptoms (he pukes more now that he's on reflux meds, remember? so that makes me think he might not have reflux after all) and it could also explain his hurty bum. So, I was looking into it on the net as I gently rocked his carseat with my foot. All of a sudden I heard a huge splash. I was like, "What the...?" and looked down to a little puddle of milk on the floor. This was an hour and a half after he last ate. Crazy! He didn't make a sound doing it nor did he seem bothered by it in the least. There was just a sudden puddle. Some made it onto his carseat but nothing on himself...not even a dribble on his chin. So, it was truly projectile, you see? Anyway, I have no clue what brought that all on. We see his doctor again in a couple of weeks for his 2 month well-baby visit (and shots) and if his bum isn't healed by then I'm definitely looking into allergies. When I asked about it at his last appointment 2 people told me, "Well, it would have to be something you're eating." Gee, ya think? Anyway, at that time the doctor said his stools would look different than they do if he had an allergy. So I let it go. We'll see. Plus, if he had allergies I'd like to believe he'd be a lot less easy going, you know what I mean? But, his poor little tushie...as I type this he's upstairs napping on his tummy (gasp!) sans diaper.

He's on a chux (those blue waterproof thingies they have in hospitals) on a towel on an opened diaper. Then he's got a towel over him just in case he decides to projectile poo today too. Plus he needs something to keep him warm. Luckily he's the world's noisiest sleeper and I can hear that he's still breathing and I check on him periodically too. Especially if he's being quiet. In fact, I took these photos one of those times.

He opened his eyes because I was making such a ruckus. Look how he's got his little finger holding the paci in! Anyway, as I sat down to resize my photos for today's blog post I realized that there were no pictures of Dalton so I had to take some. And there they are.

Well, before I go...one final picture of Easton...and Blitz:

Easton tucked himself in on the couch after breakfast. I think he woke up too early. Too early for me anyway. Blitz decided to join him which Easton did not like. I shoo-ed Blitz for him but only after I snapped the picture. Mean mommy.

After naps we've got to hit Wal-Mart. Supposedly we're gonna get hit with some nasty weather starting tonight. Jason's already bucking to take the 4WD tomorrow for all the snow we're supposed to be getting. Better make sure I've got everything we need to stay home tomorrow. Oh great...I just looked out the window and the snow has already started. It was sunny on the way home from Circle Time a couple of hours ago. That's Colorado for ya! Brrr.

I like the mini pizza idea. Wren would eat cheese all day long if I let him.

The sleeping pictures of D are so sweet. Nothing sweeter than a peacefully sleeping child.

It is just so amazing how quick these little guys are growing up.I mean W and E use to be the babies!

That D is just scrumpticious. He needs a onesie that says "Caution: May Give You Baby Fever" because he's that cute.
