Hmmmmm...this is when I start to get a little frustrated with blogging. I've got a couple newer frequent commenters which I love, and thank you! But not one comment on Dalton's silly outfit? Darn. We drew a moustache and everything. Guess not everyone thinks baby moustaches are as hilarious as I do. I don't mean to be such a whiner but it's kind of a bummer. That's all. I realize I give y'all a lot of material and a lot of pictures soooo maybe you're just overloaded? In any case...here's more.
Back before our shopping outing on Saturday, the only two of my fellas that can stand on their own struck a pose for the camera:
And Sunday morning, with Thomas still out:
I think the biggest reason Thomas is such a huge hit with Easton is that we don't keep it out all the time. It stays special. Even Dalton got to play:
The bruthas:
Easton loves to "hold it". He's still working on those pronouns. Anyway, here's a cute one of "it":
And a silly faced one:
Oh my gosh, isn't he chunky? We can't get over how fat he is. He is a big boy.
Lookie what my husband made me do:
M.P.B. got you down?
Well, don't be a George Costanza head, make your wife do this:
Ack! It's gone. It's all gone. Jason is happier. I guess seeing his long lucious locks from that senior picture of his made him take this plunge. He'd been threatening me with it for awhile. I didn't have a choice anymore. Now he and Dalton have the same 'do. Seriously. And all 3 of my guys have the same curlique cowlick on the right side of their foreheads. I'll have to get a picture some other time.
While we had the clippers out we gave Easton a summer buzz too:
The freshly shorn cuties:
J really does look happier. He saw me doing it in a hand mirror and said, "I respect myself more already." He's a goon. It's gonna take me a little more getting used to. But it was nice of me to do it even though I was against it. And I found him a few things to keep his dome looking good. I'm so supportive. :)
I'm not in any pictures ever, am I? The one time Jason decides to snap one of me lately is on a frumpy never-left-the-house kind of day. Oh well...here's me and my boys anyway:
Just so you don't forget what I look like.
We're having issues again with Easton and bedtime. He has taken forever to get to sleep. He's not being "bad" or getting out of bed or needing our company or interventions. He just talks in his room (not even loud enough to bother Dalton). Saturday night he was up talking till 9:30. Last night it was *only* 8:45. We put him to bed at 7:30!!! The kicker is of course he's still waking at 6:30-6:45. I was trying to blame it on it still being daylight. He's got black out curtains but they don't black out everything. But Jason pointed out how Easton can fall asleep for naps with the light. I dunno. He goes through these phases and if he's not bothering anyone I guess I should be fine with it. I just wish he was getting more sleep. He's never slept enough for me, it seems.
Anyway, today my mom came up to help me go to the mall. She's off and volunteered to help out so I took her up on it. So, she came up early and Dalton was napping plus the mall wasn't open yet. So she and Easton did some galloping:
He just loves his Gramoo.
Then Dizzle woke up, ate, and we headed to the mall. I brought everyone along as opposed to my mom babysitting them at home just so Easton could play in the mall's fun play area. But when we got there it was closed!
Not to worry, it was opening soon and I took a bunch of photos that turned out really crappy. This is probably the best one:
Then I left Eastie and Gramoo there and took Dalton with me to go try on jeans at JCPenney. I need new jeans and don't like how much they cost at the Gap. With my super-long inseam I've only found Gap makes extra talls (you have to get them online) and now I've discovered JCPenney has some online too. So, I wanted to go try on some in the store and see if I want to order them. I do. But Dalton and I couldn't fit his travel system in the fitting rooms. I had to take it all apart. Then the jeans in the size I wear at the Gap were a little tighter than I like, but I wasn't about to try on the next size up because of the ordeal with the stroller dismantling. I'm going to just order the next size (darn!) and hope for the best.
I called my mom's cell phone to see where she and E were at that point and she had taken him to a little arcade with Chuck E. Cheese type "rides".
Fifty cents a pop! What a nice Gramoo! She offered to take a picture with me in it:
So, when we got home I took one of myself and Dalton too, just to be fair:
We went out for a quick but delish lunch and then Gramoo had to leave to go get my sister from school. Easton went down for his nap and Dalton and I headed to upload all the pictures to the computer. This is where Dizzle sometimes sits while I do that:
Nestled in the crook of my very long leg. I've been known to eat dinner and stuff with him there too...sometimes if he's wanting to be held as opposed to sitting in his swing or something that's what I'll do. He likes it there as you can clearly see.
Okay, that was more than enough to bombard you lovely readers with. I guess I'll call it a day. Ta ta for now!

Okay, my excuse for not mentioning the hilarious outfits & moustache is that I didn't even comment yesterday, so there! Although it's probably even worse to not comment at all. Oh well. I DO think it's very amusing and my first thought was what crazy (but fun!) parents you guys are. The karate pics were my favorite. How do you think of these things?!
You did a good job with the haircuts. If you don't like it that short, at least you know it will grow back. Well J, we *hope* it will grow back. :)
Galloping with Gramoo looks like fun. At first I thought they were doing a work out video together!
Looks like her and E had loads of fun at the mall. I was so sad when I saw E at the closed gate. Good thing it opened up!
So what ended up being your favorite jeans? A fellow tall girl is curious...
I forgot to comment on the hilarious moustache ensemble? How could I?? I found it quite entertaining, but perhaps Clarence stole my attention? *lol*
E goes to bed at 7:30! Goodness. Katie is up until eleven or later most nights. Once upon a time she went to bed at 9, but that is the earliest we've ever been able to swing for her.
I love the boys' new do's!
And Dizzle is adorable as always. I love the chub. I miss my chubby baby! He's 5 now! *sob* Hahah!
Forgot to add that you have the prettiest blue eyes, Kristin!
I read your blog often, but I never comment. Shame on me! :) Anyway, your hubby's pics about the MPB? Well, my hubby just got 'that' cut too! LOL! I love it now...at first it was weird. And now it is weird to see pics of him with his hair "long"! LOL! And we gave Jack the same do as well! LOL! He loves it and so go I!!
I am just now catching up. My internet has been off for a few days. I love Baby Dizzle's moustache and all the pictures. I remember that one of E as the Karate Kid. So cute. It sounds like y'all had a wonderful weekend. I love Jason's haircut. I think he looks great with it short.
I am impressed that you took Dalton with you to try on jeans. You are a multi-tasker to beat all.
Cute picture of E with Mom. She never misses a teachable moment...
Anyway...sorry that I missed the blogs, but I am so glad to see all the pictures.
Love,
Auntie Jess
I have so been missing out on all of these adorable pictures!!! "It" is adorable...and chunky...and, did I say, adorable?? E looks so darn happy in all of these pictures...send some of that my way, okay?!?!?
What is MPB? Should I know this?
So my reason for the lack of comments is OVERLOAD. The house is loaded with stuff, on top of birthday depression, THEN dani comes home with PINWORMS! So I have been the bleach and hot water queen the last few days. I am over the birthday depression (weird, never had that), and well the house is STILL full of stuff.
I did read the 'stach post and enjoyed it but did not comment because wren was asleep in my arms.
Don't you just love it when you throw the ole "where in the hell are all of you out there and why no comments?" comment out and then the comments just flood in- funny....I think
Love, britty
