Don't Stop Napping!!

I am SOOOO not ready for Easton to give up naps. But, he has for today. Granted, he did sleep in the car on the way to have lunch with Jason but that can't be it. I've tried and tried to get him down. Eventually I give up and take him out. I know it's not teaching him well but I don't know what else to do. Right now he's having some semi-quiet time in his crib. I need the break even if he doesn't. His mood has been less than stellar today. Meltdown after meltdown from my mini monster. If he was being a nice boy it might be a little easier for me to handle this "no nap" day. But, he's not. It hasn't been the most fun day ever. Oh well. Hopefully he'll get this little bit of "pooeyness" out of his system and be super for the visit from his Alabamaws starting tomorrow. I just think I've got him in a bad napping pattern due to him being sick. He used to go down without help and now (if he sleeps at all) it has required intervention on my part on more than one occasion (aka: head rubbing). Grrr. Okay, so I'm done with this vent and on to another...

I don't think I like my new 'do. I think it makes my face look fat. I usually don't do much to my hair so I wear it wavy and I think that accentuates the roundness even more. The stylist was going for that. She said, "before your face looked kind of long..." (it did?) "and now it looks fuller". Fuller...fatter...what's the diff? Anyway, this same stylist was a young gal with a round face herself. Maybe she likes that look. I like to avoid any extra roundness myself. Whatever. The stylist was also quite young, in fact, for some reason or another we were talking about my ex-husband and how he was a waiter but the money was good because he worked at higher-end places and she said, "Oh, like Red Lobster". She was serious, Jason thinks she probably had dinner there for prom last year. That's how young she was. I just thought that was funny.

Well, Easton's "quiet time" has turned into a crying fest so I have to go now. But before I do here's a picture of me with my non-stylist-straightened 'do (in other words, I "did" it myself which means I didn't do anything to it). Blech.
