Happy New Year, blog fans!
So that "silly mask" was Easton's latest prize. 8 poops in the potty. He's doing awesome. Just that pesky lack of regular nighttime dryness.
Anyway...I'm getting off track. The silly mask was not the new look for the day. Instead...
"Does your scraggly hair have you feeling a little down in the dumps?"
"Does it make you want to hide your face?"
"Then how 'bout your first hair cut?"
(Tied together with a keepsake quality strand of dental floss.)
Dalton before:
And after:
Ack! His hair is all gone! I instantly regretted it but Jason likes it. If hair was something I cry over (never have before even with some really bad cuts and styles) then I'd probably cry over this. He looks older. Auntie Lauren thinks it makes his head look bigger.
When nursing him I loved running my fingers over his little head. And now he's got a boy head. Not a baby head. He looks like he's ready to join the army. I really hope it grows back quickly. Not to quite as long and "wispy" as it was before, but I buzzed it too short, for sure.
Eastie got a fresh buzz too:
And so did Jason, for that matter...the freshly shorn boys played in D's room while I buzzed J's head:
Then they both took a shower with J to get rid of any stray hairs.
What a day. D's first haircut. What a way to start the year!

Awwww! My little Dizzle! All grown up. LOL. He's still so handsome, but he DOES look a bit older. But he IS a bit older, so its all good.
I like it, he's still very cute!! Lucas has the same style, but he has never had his cut. :)
NO!!! Not the first haircut alreay...sigh, sweet Dalton is such a cutie, with or without the hair. btw, could you convince David to let me get Lila's cut? She needs a haircut so badly but David says no until the first birthday, maybe I'll show him D's new look ;)
Oh, I think he looks super handsome! You are a braver woman than I, to try it yourself. You did good, mom. And don't worry, it will grow back. Maybe he'll get one of those baby bouffants that Adam had post-haircut. Wishful thinking, huh. lol
WOW! He look very handsome though!! Totally didn't expect that! But yeah just hair . . .ummm coming from me who has yet to cut any of Mia's hair! oops!! Love Easton's new look too! lol
I love his haircut!! Such a handsome little man :)
And YAY E on the pottying! We too are still dealing with the nighttime pee. I don't have a clue on how to prevent it. I know it doesn't help that she takes a glass of water to bed with her everynight but she really, really wants that water. Not ready to battle that just yet.
