Same Ol' Same Ol'

Not much new here, Easton is still sick although he's slightly less hot today. And in somewhat better spirits. He hasn't had any medicine yet today.

Dalton is still happy and healthy.

Yesterday Easton ended up napping and even though he woke up at 5:45 yesterday morning AND he's sick, I was still afraid for bedtime given that he'd napped a bit (not that long). And sure 'nuff...it was at least an hour and a half after we put him to bed that he was finally quiet. He's a weirdo with sleep, isn't he? He was up once in the night to pee and then woke up before he is "supposed" to again today. But it wasn't as bad as yesterday. And he was quiet after a sip of water (he's been sick, you know). It wasn't so bad that he woke me up...I had somewhere to be...

This morning at 7 was non-resident registration for swimming lessons at the rec center by us--we're enrolled at another place but are hoping for the nearby rec center. I totally forgot about Dalton's cast at first! I remembered just in the nick of time and put just Easton on the wait list for 2 different classes. Doubt we'll get in, good thing we're already signed up at the stinky place further away. Must cancel Dalton for the first session though. Silly me. Jason stayed home with the boys while I went and did that. I was home by, like, 7:10...that's how close it is to us...and then J went to work.

After breakfast and some online recipe browsing on my part we went to Wal-Mart and our regular grocery store to stock up for the week. Easton was freezing the entire time--probably because of the fever--and kept asking me to hold him. I showed him how to curl up in a ball in the back of the cart and pull his arms inside his shirt. I couldn't carry him the whole time.

We got home and I let Easton have a popsicle for hydration purposes and then we sat down for lunch. Easton only ate a little bit of his macaroni and side of nectarine. He told me he was really full and was going to go take a nap. I even asked him if he wanted to play a game on the computer that he'd been begging to play but he said, no, he was going to take a nap. And that's exactly what he did. He fell asleep nearly instantly...I was pretty surprised. Sometimes he tucks himself in bed but comes down a minute later. This time he had his little door shut and he was O-U-T. Poor fella. Can't wait to see how bad it'll screw up bedtime tonight but what am I supposed to do when he tucks himself in and falls asleep?

Instead, Dalton finished both his and Bubba's lunch. We took some pictures:

I was actually taking quite a few pics and all of a sudden our doorbell rang and I caught this face:

It was a package from The Alabamaws! We can't wait to open it later tonight:

I put Dalton down shortly after that and here I am with you fine folks. I guess all that's left is a few pictures from yesterday. Here is Mr. Sickie shortly after puking. He wanted to get back in his jammies:

Then he puked again right on those stairs and had to get new jammies:

He keeps puking right after he takes medicine so now he's afraid of the medicine when he used to love taking meds. I can always get them into him eventually but he protests for awhile until I remind him that he'll feel better once he takes them. When he finally agreed yesterday he said, "I promise I won't frow them up". Awww. But you can see he was feeling better from that cute picture of the two of my boys.

And this morning, E took a picture of me in my new shirt:

He picked it out for me yesterday. Well, I picked the shirt and he picked the color. He done good, no?

Who knows what we'll be up to this afternoon? Much of it depends on E and his mood and fever. I guess you'll find out about it tomorrow...

I'm sure you are so ready for everyone in your house to feel better again. At least Easton is well enough to leave the house...even if he has to make a lil Eastie cocoon in the Wal-Mart shopping cart. :)

Dalton's face when the doorbell rang made me laugh out loud. Super cute!

And his shirt brought back lots of memories for me. I'll be sending you an email shortly. :)

Poor little Eastie. I hope the sickies leave you all alone for a long time. How sad is it that he puked after that stairs picture? Awww.

D's doorbell face was great. He's so cute!

Oh, and I love me some Gymbo sales & coupons! I scored a ridiculous amount of girly fun things recently!
