Happy Monday everyone. I'm feeling like I should be nice and refreshed after all the sleep I got last night. Back on Thursday Lauren and I joined all the teenage Twi-hards at the midnight showing of New Moon. Which meant that I got a grand total of 2.5 hours of sleep that night. And I was actually doing okay on Friday and through the weekend. But last night I guess it caught up with me. I fell asleep on the couch watching the season finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm with J around 9:15 or so...he woke me up and sent me upstairs at 9:45. I woke up to nurse Autumn around 4 but just pulled her into bed with us and went right back to sleep. I didn't wake for the day (no one did, amazingly!) until 7:15! That's a lot of sleep for me. And yeah, I needed it.
My non-blogging on Friday had nothing to do with my late night. It was just a busy day. First, E had school. I hung with the two littler ones, of course, and Dalton is learning how to use the computer:
And he spent some time taking care of Baby Dupa:
I love how he loves babies. You remember back when he chose Dupa with his $10 Walmart gift card from The Maws? That was the day after I found out I was pregnant with Pearl. Dalton had no idea. It was a crazy coincidence I couldn't wait to share with all of you. But we all know how that one turned out. Still, Dalton loves babies...especially his sister:
Once it was time to get E from school, we got him and then came home for some lunch. Easton had a school reward party from a recent fundraiser so we were expected back up at the school before too long. And after that we were heading to drop off our Operation Christmas Child boxes. While we were home we prayed for the children that would be receiving our shoe boxes and thanked God for all that we have and that we are able to bless others. It's always so sweet to hear their prayers:
So we went up to Easton's school where they had a tiny fair set up in the parking lot. A couple of silly games with no prizes and some bounce houses with long lines. He teamed up with Emily and Tabor and Dalton and Holten tagged along best they could. It was only about an hour long and then we drove up to drop off our shoe boxes to the collection site.
That is where my day took a bad turn---someone thought I was pregnant. I don't think that's ever happened to me before when I wasn't pregnant. I think I'd remember. Anyway, it went down like this. I walk in with the two boys and Autumn in her car seat. I set her down behind the podium so the man can't see her but he did see us walk in. Easton was telling me how he'd never been to this particular church and had I ever been there before? I told him that actually yes, Daddy and I had been there. So he asked if I'd show him around and I was all, "you know, buddy, we were only in that room up front there" (an office) and then the man was all, "For what?" and I was all...if you must know, "we came here for some counseling when we were thinking of having a third baby" and he goes, "it looks like you figured it out". Now, I thought he said this because, duh, I'm there with my three kids. But then he starts going to Easton..."is it going to be a brother or a sister?" and "what's her name going to be?" and I'm all, "Her name is Autumn and she's right here!" :( He's like, "Oh, I'm sorry" and I'm all, "She's pretty new so it's okay"...(Sooooooooooooo not okay). Man, that sucks...I was thinking I was doing pretty good. Certainly not thinking I looked pregnant enough for someone to mention it. Boo hoo. :(
Oh well.
Saturday Jason took the boys to one of those free building workshops at Lowe's. They had fun. I hung here and wished I'd known they'd be gone for so long (they also went to the park) so that I could've been more productive. I didn't do a whole heck of a lot of anything. In the afternoon, LSU played and so I tried my hand at making my first hair accessory. After the game we had plans to meet up with some good friends (Little John and family). However, we ended up running 20 minutes late. I was appalled at ourselves. That is so not normal for us. The kicker was that I didn't have my phone to call them. So we showed up and the place is way too crowded so we headed to another restaurant which was like, "A party of 10??? Uhhhhhh..." Instead we ended up picking up some pizzas and going over to their house which was nice but I felt so super bad about imposing like that. Our boys had fun with their boys. We ended up getting home super late after all that mess so the boys were in bed really late. Oh well.
Sunday was church. We both really enjoyed the sermon even more than usual. Autumn wore a dress that I have absolutely no clue where it came from. Molly and Izzy is my best guess although it's a smaller size and they mostly passed on bigger stuff...Molly?
When we got home the boys went outside to suck up bugs with their new bug vacuum from Little John and family:
And after the Saints game was over (they're 10-0! Look out, Patriots!) we went back to Bass Pro's Santa's Wonderland. Coincidentally the boys are wearing the exact same sweaters as before. We had fun but it was not as fun as last weekend. But Jason was still a nice addition to our outing as he's a much better shot at the shooting gallery than I am:
Dalton giving us a hand with baby A:
The Santa's Wonderland stuff just wasn't as fun as before, they'd run out of the craft by the time we got there, so mostly we checked out stuff in the store:
We made a last minute decision to hit Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and then came home where we put all 3 kids in a bath together for the very first time. We have pictures but they're not share-able. Sorry. The boys liked it so much that they were being sooooooooooo loud. But all 3 of 'em had fun.
Now it's quiet time and I've got to come up with something to do later this afternoon. So, until next time...

Dalton is so tender and cute with his babies. And don't you just love hearing their prayers? Ranen has really blossomed in that area too. I was just thinking the other day that I need to try and make some bows for K. I watched a youtube video but have not attempted yet.
Both your boys seem to be such sweet big brothers!
I've seen photos of you since having A and I totally DON'T think you could be mistaken for being pregnant. Men are dumb sometimes. LOL.
I love that face Easton is making on the 4-wheeler. Good thing he's not old enough to be let loose yet!
And sweet praying boys...so heartwarming.
Does Autumn's hair have any red in it? Every once in a while I'll see a pic of her where it looks a little red-ish to me. I love her Sunday morning outfit!
