Remember when I said Autumn was outgrowing some clothes? And remember when I said how blessed we've been with hand-me-downs and gifts? Well, yesterday I decided to go through the 3-6 month stuff. Seasonally appropriate (nothing summery), this is what she has:

In just the 3-6 month size! I put that diaper box there for reference...you know, like, putting a quarter next to something small. :) I've been saying that when it's time for us to pass things along to another lucky girl, I'm gonna have to separate it into 3 batches! I think I might not even use the unisex stuff I had leftover from the boys. I sure don't need to!

There is quite a bit of stuff in that pile that I bought at the Just Between Friends sale and a few pieces I bought at the second hand store before we knew friends would so generously be passing things along. If only I'd known. I'm really sad that I'm starting to lose track of who has given us what. You know, so I could be like, "Look, Autumn's wearing that cute ___ you gave her!" Ack!

As she gets older...even 6 months, we don't have anywhere near the amount that we have for this 3-6 month range. It's just kinda crazy it worked out this way. That's the size I bought the most of at the sales I went to. Oh well. We'll be able to bless others like we've been blessed.

Moving on...

Easton drew a cute little picture yesterday:

Auntie Lauren will appreciate it...it's some of the Star Wars gang. Padmé Amidala is over there on the left. Then Obi Wan is the brown dude in the middle with the lightsaber, beard, and brown clothes, then Darth Mal is on the right. See how he's got a red and black face? Young Anakin is the little brown dude with the lightsaber below Darth Mal. We haven't let him watch the movies yet although I don't know why not as we let him play the Wii game. Sometimes I like to be mysterious that way. :)

What else? I made jambalaya last night in honor of the Saints playing on Monday Night Football. They're still undefeated which is crazy! Broncos lost this weekend but before that, our NFL teams were 5-0!

Autumn watched the game with Daddy. Well, really she just kept him company while he watched it and I did other things. Then she woke up, had some milk and got into her jammies, I played with her for a bit and she went to sleep from 10:30-7:15 again. I'm afraid of ever moving her into her room because I know we're somehow gonna screw up this good thing we got going.

However, the boys sort of took a step back with this time change adjusting. Usually they're up around 7:00. On Sunday I mentioned they were up at the new 6:30...Monday they'd made it till 6:45 and today Dalton was up at 6:00. And he was pitching a fit about all kinds of things. So that meant Easton was up too. Darn room sharing.

They've been fine, though, minus D's initial tantruming. We got our doughnuts and then they wanted to do an art project. So they chose to paint these little crocodiles:

Love their little concentrating faces:

Easton said that when he grows up he could be an artist and he'll be able to stay in the lines. Cutie.

Dalton's turned into finger painting.

Autumn snoozed nearby in her swing:

How do you like her 'do? She had that ponytail on top of her head yesterday and the hair is staying by itself still.

Easton's finished 'dile. He says it's a Spiderman one!

The flash overexposed the pic I took of Dalton's so you'll just have to use your imaginations and picture what it would look like covered in blue, green and red. :)

When cleaning up afterwards I inadvertantly hurt Easton's shopping cart injured nail. It hasn't fallen off and I feel bad that I hurt him somehow but dude threw a big ol' freaking out cry fest over it and suddenly I didn't feel quite as bad. Anyway, I told him we were going to have to cut some of it off (like the doctor's office told us to do when it happened). He did not like this idea until I promised a piece of Halloween candy afterwards if he was brave and still and not flipping out. He did great. Really really great. I gave Dalton candy too which he shared with Easton anyway:

Then we moved upstairs so I could pull out some of the smaller 3-6 month things from the pile of clothes so she might start wearing them now. Easton made a castle with a bunch of empty boxes I have in A's room:

That Cuddles up at the top is his flag. I thought it was a great idea!

When I finished up I made it into a different looking castle (E's had fallen down by then) and we played in there until it was time for lunch:

And that brings us to now. I'm making sure Dalton is napping today. He hasn't been napping as much lately which makes bedtime an absolute breeze but since he didn't sleep in this morning he definitely needs some extra z's. I think that about does it from my end. So till next time...

You're not kidding...that is a LOT of clothes! Blessed indeed!

Looks like it's been a fun, laid-back morning at your house. Hope Dalton gets a good nap!

Just so you know...I am pretty sure 99% of the stuff I gave you are 6 months and older :)

We have those same crocs the boys were painting...now I just need to remember where I stashed them?

I'm going to assume there are a lot of clothes in that invisible photo and that Eastie's Star Wars drawing was super awesome. :)

Sometimes I think we are the only ones in America who don't watch football (or any sports)!

The time change has been great for us, everyone is going to sleep and waking up well.
