Some shots of the poor middle child. He is still at our favorite age/stage. He's so easy to love:
He wanted to turn the camera around on me:
Those were his best two. He's still getting the hang of such things.
Later that day we did some crafting. Our pen pal friends sent some Christmas crafts and we couldn't wait to dive in:
We did some snowmen after the reindeer but apparently I didn't take any pictures. Just this hilarious movie...
I don't remember much else until Saturday morning. Jason took the car in for an oil change and picked up doughnuts for us (but not him) and coffee (for me). While he was gone we discovered Wizby had left us a note (in the form of a paper airplane). When Jason got back Easton made him read it again!
Then we dove into our annual gingerbread project. This year it was a train!
This particular kit came with an "E-Z assemble" tray which really helped:
As did my awesome little helpers:
Who were allowed to sample since this years kit was fresh as opposed to last year's that I bought when I was married to Ben!
Not sure what the pout is about:
Because it was before I put frosting on his nose!
Diddles has some too which he's trying to reach with his tongue:
Hunchback of Colorado, I am!
More decorating...
All finished!
The back:
The boys playing on our laptops while we fixed lunch:
Dalton's gotten pretty good but still quite a bit of help:
Saturday afternoon we had big plans...here's Autumn's "Before":
And "After":
See her little top? Isn't that the most perfect Going-to-Disney-On-Ice outfit you've ever seen??? (Courtesty of Gramoo.)
Once again, Gramoo treated our crew to Disney on Ice. I love that my boys can still enjoy something like ice skating. It helped that this years show included "Cars":
Easton wondered why the cars didn't have skates. :)
Gramoo also sprung for the really great seats. There were just 4 rows separating us from the ice which meant even Autumn enjoyed the show because we were close enough for it to hold her attention:
I have a feeling I'll be visiting Disney on Ice with my girl even after my boys lose interest. But for now, the whole family enjoys it:
The Ariel segment was Easton's favorite:
And he did not enjoy the Lion King part.
He was scared but he told us he was just going to take a little nap and to wake him up when it was over.
I guess Autumn had the same idea:
At intermission I took the boys potty. I tried to take a picture right in front of the ice but a security lady came and shoo'd us back a bit as I was taking this:
Lauren noticed Dalton had folded his little hands:
He says his favorite part was Tinkerbell. She even flew!
Dalton burst into tears the second it ended. We weren't sure what happened at first to make him cry and then we were able to gather that he was crying because it was over. Sweetie poo!
Thank you again, Gramoo!!!
Afterwards we tried to go out to eat. I called on the phone and they said there was no wait. So we got there and Gramoo and Lauren were already waiting for what we were told would be 10-15 minutes. But then we waited some more. (35 minutes) and then they told us it would be at least another 30!!! So we walked out. And the next day Gramoo called to complain about some of the hostess's practices (they sucked!) and they said they'd be happy to comp us a meal. So guess where I'm going tonight? :)

OMG! That looks awesome. KayTar would be over the moon for that stuff...we watched Halloween on Ice this year and she's way into skating now.
The snowman video was so funny!! BOYS!
After seeing your Disney on Ice pictures, I am trying to convince my mom to take us. Of course, it will be over $250 for 11 of us and this is in the blood nose seats!
Oh the ice show looked fun. I bet the kids loved that. We did our gingerbread house on Saturday too. We have half eaten it now. And we got a icing in the mouth shot, our tradition.
Iced Milk....LOL. That was so cute. The spinning, maybe he was a super Ice hero...lol.
Hope you are enjoying your comp dinner with better service.
Y'all have so much fun! I love seeing what you are up to!!
