I really need to be better about writing these down...the ones I have for you now are pretty much all from today while I can still remember them...
- Today at Target, Easton kept saying, "Don't worry, citizen...I can handle this" as he put items into the cart for me. Citizen? Probably from a super hero show.
- He kept calling Autumn "Twinkle Toes" in the car. I'm not sure where he got that one.
- E pointed out a smoothie shop in a strip mall as we drove past. I said, "Too bad they don't have a drive-through because I have too many kids to go in there so easily, don't I?" and he agreed but pointed out, "It's a good thing Autumn can't move yet".
- Easton asked when Autumn gets bigger if we think she'll "talk in Spanish or normal?" :)
- I had to make a copy of my driver's license the other day and walked up to a self-service machine and went, "Ack! I don't know how to use this" to which Easton said, "I can help! You open the lid and then put your face on and you have to close your eyes..." Ha! He's made copies of his face at Jason's job so I guess he thinks that's what you always do with a copy machine! Hee hee hee! Good thing they didn't Xerox other parts.
- Dalton took a sip of his Chick-fil-A lemonade and said, "This is wonderful". Wonderful? Goob.
- During the Superbowl when Tracy Porter intercepted Peyton's pass and returned it for a touchdown Jason was yelling, "He's gone! He's gone!" and the next day Dalton asked to re-watch "When that guy got gone". Jason was all too happy to oblige.
- Last Wednesday I registered Dalton for preschool for the fall (yes, already). :( Anyway, he knew we were doing that and on the drive over he said, "Sign me up! Sign me up!" all excitedly. Well, we also picked Easton up and when we got back in the car to head home Dalton started crying because he thought he was getting to go to school right then. Poor guy.
That's all I can remember. Sorry.
This next one is a "darndest thing" but isn't something anyone said...How cute is my baby in this hat?
That's a 5 month old Dalton, though. Not my current baby.
We often think Autumn looks a lot like him...just a lot more hair and a little less fat. Comparing again:
What do you think? The funny thing is, we often hear how much Autumn is looking like me but how much Dalton looks like Jason. Big people say the darndest things too.

I definitely see the Autumn/Dalton resemblence and I'm one of those adults that thinks Autumn looks like you and Dalton looks like Jason. Must be the eyes.

and They really do favor each other! I've never noticed it until those two baby pics next to each other! So sweet!
Those are such cute sayings. And doesn't it kind of sound funny when big words come out of their mouth like "wonderful". So precious. I have another comment but I do that in private...lol.
Okay...I was GOING to say, "Wow! Autumn REALLY looks like Dalton in that hat!" But it WAS Dalton. Ha!
They do favor a lot...and I think they both favor Jason. Eastie looks like you, though. I think people say Autumn favors you since she's a girl...people say the same thing to me about KayTar, but I think she favors Josh...at least when he was a little one!
