Well, would you have a look at that:
A post from today!
Yes, folks, I am all caught up. On most things anyway. Somehow I haven't worked in that the boys have both been sleeping till nearly 8 or even a little later these days. Ahhhh, the time change keeps it nice and dark in the mornings for them. And Easton is continuing to "keep [him]self so dry" in his underpants at night. He seems to be over his dino fear...the constant dinosaur worries lasted maybe 3 whole days, then a few more days of mentioning them once or twice, and now he seems to have moved on.
Dalton, on the other hand, is getting his first molar. It is hurting him and it's just so sad to hear him cry out in pain in his sleep several times a night. And then there's the extra time he's needing comforting to get back to sleep with those ouchie toofers. Teething totally bites.
Well, let's see, this morning we got up around 8-ish. Dalton a little later. E and I made chocolate chocolate chip muffins from a mix for breakfast. Easton ate two and said, "I love brownies!" Hmmmm, chocolate chocolate chip is probably not the best choice for a breakfast muffin. Oh well, they were good.
Easton also got a gift that the Easter Bunny forgot to put in his basket: a Buzz Jibbitz for his fake croc shoes. He's happy, 'bout that!
After breakfast we headed down to the Colorado Mills mall. Easton is getting too tall for most of his 2T pants, but it's nearly summer so there's not a lot out there in the pants department and of course I don't want to buy much right now anyway for just a few months. I ended up getting one pair of jammies and one pair of pants. I'm not sure if he has shirts to match the pants, but I bought pants. And I'll just have to stay really on top of the laundry as we rotate between the few things that fit him. Till summer that is. When we can break out the plaid shorts, right? :) He was a good boy though and was promised a ride on the carousel if he was good at the mall:
Clearly, he behaved himself. Dalton was cranky but lit up when he saw the carousel. They're too cute.
I also have yet to mention that Jason and I have become fans of both "The Office" and "LOST". We're getting caught up and are in Season 3 of The Office. We watch it online and then the first disc of Season 3 of LOST should arrive from Netflix tomorrow. We really like The Office, we're thinking LOST is getting kinda dumb and a little too far-fetched but AJ says to stick with it because Season 4 (that's on TV now) is supposedly really good. So we're hanging in there. We've heard they lost some viewers (PaPaw) during Season 3 and we would've probably bailed during the end of Season 2 if we weren't watching them back to back like we are.
Well, quiet time appears to have ended as Dalton is awake. We're off to pick up some hash browns for tonight's "breakfast for dinner". Mmmmm.

Oh girl, The Office? Man, David will watch that show and I feel like I'm being punished...I don't know how you make it through an episode ;)
And whoohooo for current posts, that is super exciting! I'm totally loving the carousel pictures!
Cute carousel pictures!
So glad that you are finally caught up. I bet it feels like a big weight has been lifted!
I'm so ready for some new The Office episodes. Love that show!
And yes, I suggest sticking with LOST. Some parts are far-fetched (and I'm not crazy about that...I want everything to make sense!), but this season IS really good.
YAY! Current posts. All this hard work catching up better discourage you from any more breaks! LOL!
I am WAY disappointed with LOST this season. But keep watching. I'm hoping it turns around.
