As I mentioned, yesterday while Dalton was sleeping, Easton did some solo time in the sandbox:
And once Dalton was up we headed up to the fountains for some fun. I didn't totally plan ahead with bathing suits for the boys. But I did bring sunscreen and a single towel...and knew I had spare underwear and a diaper in the bag in the car.
Off we went. Eastie got a bit of a head start while I got Dalton ready:
By the time Dalton joined him (in his giant shorts!) Easton was cold and put his shirt back on to go play on the playground part.
D checking it out:
"Well, I wasn't expecting that!"
Back for more!
E on the playground:
But he came back for more, too:
Some video clips of mostly Dalton enjoying the fountains:
Why do so many children try to give themselves a colonic? My mom had a student that was near lethally injured sitting on a fountain in Disney World. No joke.

And just before the "incident"...breaks my heart when I see the looks of pure happiness on his little face:

That's his new friend in the brown shorts and Crocs...literally seconds before he fell:

While I turned to check on Dalton playing with the rental strollers:

Poor, poor Eassie-Bug. Also go back and notice how Easton's shorts are nearly completely falling off. They fit him a few months ago back when I bought them and now either he's lost weight or simply gotten taller because they no longer fit. In fact, even when they were not heavy and soaking wet, they fell right off him later in the day. Like, he had to pull them back up from the pile they landed in at his ankles. We're having this issue with several things I bought him for summer that fit a few months ago. I'm not sure what to do. Sewing them myself is out of the question.
This morning we made muffins for breakfast and then we went out. First to the library, then to buy garlic, and then to do some graduation present shopping for my sister.
After quiet time we'll be going to Ellis's house to play. Easton is excited to try out Ellis's new, safer "jumpoline". He forgot what it was really called, tee hee!
That's all for today!

wow, that looks like so much fun! I would so get in on that fun :)
And I am so lol at the colonic comment! Too funny ;)
At least they both had a blast before the big injury. I may have to see if we have a place like that anywhere around here. Adam really enjoyed it last summer in Wichita.
Hope ya'll are having fun on the jumpoline!
That video at the fountain was hilarious. I was holding my breath as D got closer.
Poor E and his clothing issues. I wish there was a solution for you guys.
Looks like fun was had before the big bump. Poor Eastie!
We have a place just like that here and Julia loves it! I hope Gracie loves it as much as D did.
Fun, fun at least for the most part. Poor E :(
