He made it 9 days.
Just 9 days before doing another face plant.
He's got a peanut head (smaller than Dalton's!) so I know he's not top heavy...why does he keep landing on his mouth? Why?
No teeth were chipped this time but he's got a fat lip...which likely means the inside teeth (and nerves and roots) felt the "bump". Argh!
We went to run around in the fountains at a nearby outdoor mall and I watched Easton make a new friend, turned around to check on Dalton, and when I turned back E was on the ground bleeding from the mouth.
And no, I didn't take a picture right away. Instead I went to rescue my soaking wet son, grabbed the other soaking wet kid on the other hip, gathered our belongings (purse, clothes, camera, sunscreen) and sped for the car. And that's where I snapped the pic...when he was crying just to cry.
We came home for a popsicle to help with pain, swelling, and general happy feelings and to let me inspect his mouth for any more broken teeth.
Poor fella. Later he volunteered that the kid pushed him. But when I said, "Did he push you or did you trip?" he said, "I tripp-ed". Or if I ask "did you bump into him?" (which wouldn't be a push) he has agreed to that too. I can't get a straight answer.
And after tomorrow's blog when I plan to share the happy pictures of the fun we had, I'm not sure when we'll ever have fun pictures like those again because Easton has informed me he "DON'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE TO PLAY EVER AGAIN!!!"
But stay tuned.

Poor Easton! I feel so bad for him! Especially because e doesn't want to go play anymore. So sad. I hope his ouchies heal quick and he forgets all about it soon.
Oh my, sure looks like he could use either a face mask or a mouth guard. Poor Sweet E. I love his statement about not wanting to play because I imagine it was said with such conviction!
Looking forward to the happy pictures.
Awww, soon he'll look like a little hockey player! By chance do E's feet turn in any? Lana do a lot and she trips 483 times a day.
Poor baby! I am sorry!
He is still handsome with a fat lip
Love, Cori
Ouch!!! Poor Eastie!
Adam can totally sympathize because he has been super klutzy lately and getting hurt all the time.
Maybe they are both growing and it's causing them to be more awkward?
Awww...poor little guy!!! I hope he heals up quickly. Awww. Poor guy!! :(
Poor little guy. That is so sad. I hope he feels better soon and will want to go out and play again.
Oh no! That looks like that hurts. I hate that he keeps face planting :(
I hope it heals quickly.
