Okay, he's been on his half hour napping spree lately (much to my chagrin). So, I worked really hard to finally get him down for a nap (he was objecting so he got a head rubbin') and he's been asleep for almost an hour! I'm actually hoping today might be a 2 nap day with him being sick but waking up at 6. We shall see.
Well, what's been going on? Not much, just trying to get healthy. For all of us. Yesterday I was SO nauseous I felt like I did with my major morning sickness when I was pregnant. And, NO, I'm not pregnant. But, I did end up wearing my SeaBands that I wore to help with my pregnancy-induced constant nausea. Blech. Those things are amazing, I must say. I went from lying ill on the floor to cooking and eating dinner after popping those babies on. See, that's amazing. I'm much better today. We've just got stuffy noses lingering around here. Jason and Easton are still coughing. I hope it ends soon, it's June for crying out loud. I can't believe this virus took us all out like this. Crazy.
Oh, I found the DVD remote today. Now, I know you guys didn't know it was missing but that's because I was so obsessed looking for it that I didn't even have time to blog. I was surprised I could even sleep. It disappeared on my watch, that's why I was extra obsessed. But, I found it in the couch, even though Jason and I had already looked in it 3 times. Seriously. At least it's back. Our Scrubs DVD should arrive today and we can't watch the special features without the remote. Phew. What was the point of this whole story you ask? Well, it was so I could share this video of Easton's giggles last night. We'd ask him where the remote was and he'd find the TV one instead. Anyway, at bedtime he got into a giggle fit because Daddy got to being silly when he'd ask where it was. So fun. I like the video even more now that we know where that pesky remote is.
Jason started at Microsoft today! He went in to his old job this morning for an "exit meeting" or two and then he's off to Microsoft for the afternoon. Exciting, I just wish he felt better but I can't wait to hear all about it.
I feel like I have so much more to share but I can't remember anything right now. Hmmmm. I guess I will give up for now. Perhaps I will have to blog again later, that is if Easton agrees to a second nap. He's still asleep though and it's been an hour and fifteen, I honestly expect him up any second. An hour and fifteen minutes is his normal nap length. See ya!
