I can't believe it, he's now closer to 4 than he is to 3. Four is a KID...four is no longer in the "toddler" category. He's getting so big...starting school next month. Wow.
I know I sound melancholy about it and I kind of am, but we also celebrated by making cupcakes with pumpkin in them together. He liked licking the batter and was excited about the cupcake:
But when it came time to eat the baked cupcake he didn't like them as much as he likes Max's mommy's pumpkin cupcakes.
Oops.

Happy half-birthday litte E-guy!
I know you'll miss the toddler he was but don't you just adore the "kid" he is becoming?
Wow! You blink and they are all grown up. Aye, aye, aye,....school? Already?
We make some pumpkin muffins and those cupcakes sound good too.
Happy 1/2 Birthday Easton!
Awwww! 4 really does sound old! Happy 1/2 birthday, E!
I was thinking of this the other day and I'll be honest, it completely freaked me out. I can't believe they are almost 4! It's so fun to see them learning and doing new things all the time, but I still miss the baby days. It's going by so incredibly fast.
I think it's fun you celebrated his half b-day...even if the cupcakes weren't a favorite. He still looks happy about it!
