I don't know what my deal is but I've been kind of lacking in the picture department lately. And today is no exception...zero pictures for you. Sorry.
I can give you a brief recap of what's happened since quiet time yesterday, though. Let's see..
We did go to the library yesterday afternoon as planned. The boys just love it there because they have fun toys and puzzles and puppets and stuff to play with. I usually pick out most of what we end up checking out but they each chose a book yesterday. We also got both of them signed up for the summer reading program again. I think this is Easton's third year. We read to our kids anyway, obviously, but with the summer reading program you earn prizes! :)
What else? This morning the boys and I went out for bagels. Then we came home and put stickers and stuff on Easton's new Transformers calendar. Yes, it was May before I even got him a new calendar. Oops. He's going to be a busy guy, though. We like it that way! I'm just glad Dalton will get to do some stuff too this time around.
We also fast-forwarded to the dancing parts of last night's "So You Think You Can Dance". I despise the beginning of those types of shows, including American Idol. I hate watching them "feature" really terrible singers and dancers who obviously think they're talented and then humiliate them on national TV. Sure, I know these people do it to themselves, but still, it makes me feel sad. So sad that I can't even watch. And I really can't stand the drama of making someone feel like they're gonna have to leave...but oh wait, you can stay. I guess that's good TV but not what I want to watch and my kids only care about the dancing anyway. So we watched some of that, it's still really boring but it gives the boys "cool moves" to then try around the living room and then they had lunch and both are in their rooms.
Dalton isn't napping so I can't stay long...last time I had him up there not napping I walked in to find he'd thrown poop all around his room. Can't let that happen again, you know. New carpet and all...

*fingers crossed* for no poop throwing! :oP
I'm with AJ. Here's to a poop-free quiet time!
I haven't gotten my camera out in a while either, with the except of a few shots at the ball game the other night.
