You probably don't know it, but the World's Largest Liquor Store is right here in our little area of Denver. Nice, eh? And it's even got the official Guiness certification. You know, so you know it's legit.
Well, I thought, what better way to spend an afternoon with my toddlers than to go check it out. Okay, the fact that it was right before Father's Day had a lot to do with it. But we drove on up, Easton thought their shopping carts were very amusing:
We picked up a few of Jason's favorites to probably last him through the summer. Although I like a couple of 'em too, so we shall see just how long those last. :)
As we were checking out Easton was still underneath the cart, and his shoe and foot went through so he was stuck. The boys and the cart were back behind the register with the lady. They tried to help him get unstuck but he rudely insisted it be me that help him. So I went back and unstuck him and made him come stand with me. The checker gave both boys lollipops. As we were leaving Easton declared, "We forgot my baby!" because Dalton was still on the other side of the register where Easton couldn't see him. But no worries, we had no intentions of forgetting Dalton or the beers and we headed out to the car where they showed off their lollipops. This is Dalton's very first and he was happy just to have it, he didn't care that it was still wrapped:
I let Dalton hang on to the wrapped sucker as we drove and then Easton shouted an amazed, "He opened it all by himself!!!" I had him take pictures as I was driving:
And then I took the sucker away...he can't be trusted rear-facing in the car with a lollipop yet! Any babies eating hard candy must be directly supervised.
That was our fun trip to the "famous" liquor store. Hooray.

Yummy suckers! So cute. To bad that Eaton got stuck. Maybe he wanted to stay in the cart or under it for that matter.
Adult beverages....yummmmmmy!!!
I just noticed the New Castle. Jason loves that too as well as Sam Adams. Maybe one day, Jason could try one of my Jason's beers. I love his strawberry beer.
Tricky little D opening his sucker!
One of our drivers in NYC offered KayTar some candy, which she doesn't eat, ever. And she told him, "No fanks. Not today." which cracked me up a little.
Neither of us drink beer here, Josh prefers fruity drinks like JD on Scrubs. LOL.
