Again, not much new to report from here. Jason had to go back to work today so Easton and I are just getting back into the swing of things with just the two of us. So far...so okay...this morning we were getting in the car to head out. Well, we were supposed to be. I had opened the garage door and was loading our library materials into the car. Easton was waiting but then decided not to and took off running down our icy sloped driveway towards the street! I yelled for him to stop in my firm tone and all but he did not. Maybe he couldn't stop? He's usually pretty good about obeying if Mommy sounds serious. Then, in the gutter there was about a foot and a half of pure ice. He hit that and fell. He wasn't hurt but I was actually glad the ice took him out. That way he didn't make it into the road. The li'l stinker!

We then headed out for the 'brary and Wal-Mart. At this time of day Wal-Mart is usually more manageable but there were some folks who have yet to learn Wal-Mart etiquette. As we were checking out this older couple came up behind us. I was still in the midst of unloading my own cart when she plops down one of those "order seperator" bars and starts unloading her cart! Lady, let me finish! Meanwhile, while she was hogging my space on the conveyor belt her husband kept grabbing at Easton's hands. And they were both barking at him with their longtime smoker's voices about, "Did you have a good Christmas?" He did not respond. To top it all off, I was loading the bags into my cart and the old dude stepped in to stand at the little podium where you pay before I had even paid. Good grief, people! They weren't that old. Anyways... out in the parking lot this one car saw me loading up and decided to sit and wait for me to finish loading my groceries, put my cart away, buckle Easton in his carseat, and drive off. Now, I did have a great spot but that was a long time to wait and I hate how people do that with absolutely no regard to the flow of traffic behind them. Scooch over or park somewhere else, that's how I feel.

When we got home our trash collectors decided to leave our can smack in the middle of the driveway so I could not get in. I had to leave Easton and the car in the road, haul the can up to the garage and then I could park. Goodness! I'm having ordeal after ordeal this morning. Okay, not really.

Easton enjoyed some "gups" (grapes) for his lunch and then went down for his nap much more pleasantly than yesterday. Whew! After nap I think we're going to have to head out for some more shopping. We (Jason) finally started clearing out the office/guest room to make way for Easton's new room. There's a lot to do yet and I still have to buy little things like hangers and look for some fun accessories like picture frames or bookends and such. This morning we bought him a laundry hamper and a trash can...that sort of stuff. We gotta have 2 functional rooms now for our boys. Crazy.

Tomorrow is my OB appointment and ultrasounds. I trust you'll stay tuned if you care. :) Oops, Easton is crying...gotta go.
