I cannot take credit for even finding this...a mom on a forum I participate in shared this with us. At first I could only see her turning counter-clockwise. I'm a total left-brainer so I was fine with that. But, I was sure that people that said otherwise were lying. :) Then she switched while I was showing it to Jason. Jason was convinced there was only one right answer too and got her to switch.
Pretty cool, eh? Try to get her to switch if you can. I think it is so nifty.

Josh thinks it is fake, that it always spins the same way until it switches itself. Yesterday I saw it switch, initially it was going counter, but then it just started going clockwise and that's how it stayed. We all see clockwise here. Weird.
But I was LMAO @ the "too distracted by the nipples"! Josh said, "Yeah, I totally noticed that yesterday." Haha!
I was definitely too distracted by the nipples, but I forced myself to concentrate for a couple of minutes and can only see clockwise. Can't for the life of me see counterclockwise.
I wonder if it's like Kyla said and she actually switches at some point.
Can you see both at the same time?
I can only see clockwise.
And I didn't even notice the nipples till I read the choices on voting. LOL.
Ok, for about 5 seconds she was counter clockwise and then I blinked and she was back to clockwise. This thing drives me bonkers!!!
hmmmm yeah I'm thinking fake. If I watch her for long enough she always switches. And then the whole thing with the other teacher seeing the switch too . . . well. I'm not convinced it's the real deal but it's still pretty cool!
I can't "get" her to switch, but she does randomly. In regard to the other comments, I don't think it's fake... sometimes it switches back & forth for me, but sometimes it switches once and stays there.
Maybe most of us are more two-sided thinkers than we think we are!
Interesting, by the way, that your readers mostly see clockwise or both, while that article says most people would see counter-clockwise.
Hmm.
