I don't even have any pictures.
I have ants. I could take a picture of those.
Easton was playing on my computer this morning and when he hopped down he was like, "Ants!!! Ants!!!" Sure enough, there they were working on some breakfast crumbs. Using my quick thinking I sprayed 409 on them and then was disturbed by how instantly it killed them. I usually use homemade cleaners these days but we still have 409 around for really, icky germy situations...of course I want it to kill germs but seeing how quickly it took care of those ants makes me a little worried about using it in my KITCHEN...where we prepare FOOD.
I then swept and mopped but they're still coming out of a heat register somehow. Ick.
I will not tolerate infestation!!! :)
Let's see...what else? Yesterday afternoon we did a big Wal-Mart run where I gave Easton a list and his umbrella stroller "cart" again. It did not go well. He only got the first two things on his list before he had to sit in the back of the cart instead. Punk.
Today is a very rainy and chilly day...it's 48 degrees outside right now. And yes, it's June. So, as a result I'm in jeans today...and yup, I can still button my regular pre-pregnancy ones...woo hoo!
My belly is not quite as high as it was with Dalton, it's filled out a lot in the part where the baby actually is. But I'm excited about my jeans still. And according to the scale I'm still at four pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight as well. Not bad for 26 weeks, eh?
As you can see, I've got what looks like a basketball in there, that means boy. But girls are carried high, according to the old wives tale. However, Dalton didn't get that memo. He was the highest of all. Let's see...other old wives tales?
- My feet aren't any colder than before I got pregnant...that means girl.
- Jason isn't gaining weight so that also means girl.
- I had morning sickness in my early (and mid!) pregnancy so that means girl (again, Easton and Dalton did not seem to understand this one).
- The sum of my age at conception (30) and the month of conception (12) is an even number...that means boy.
- I'm not looking too porn star-ish up top so that means boy too.
Guess we won't know for awhile. It's weird now, though, because it's June. And Wabie will be "term" in August...and when you see that it's June now, August just doesn't sound too far away at all, does it? Eek!
I think we need to get those bunk beds ordered!
We've got Jacob's little class gathering this afternoon. I offered to bring a fruit tray so I'd better get to washing and chopping so we'll be ready to go when Diddles wakes up. Till next time...

You are positively glowing : ) Moo
Girlfriend, August / early September is going to be here before we know it! It seems like your pregnancy is just zooming by.
And do share more about these homemade cleaners, please. I just finished spraying Windex antibacterial spray on almost every surface of my kitchen...high chair tray included! (I would insert a concerned emoticon here if I knew how).
Supposedly ants don't like the smell of black pepper. So last summer when we have ants in our house, I put a whole bunch of freshly ground black pepper on a paper plate and placed the plate close to the ants and the ants left (at least for a little while).
You could try it if you're bored :)
Kelli
Good luck with the ants.
Pregnancy is so much faster and more enjoyable when it is someone else's! LOL.
KayTar was lower that BubTar. Josh gained weight with both, but he lost all of the weight from BubTar when we were at the hospital. He came home and was his pre-pregnancy weight. How weird!
I had morning sickness with both, but with BubTar it lasted longer, but with KayTar it was worse.
I heard about this almost foolproof way to tell...it is some high tech thingy called an ultrasound. You should look into that. (LOL! I kid, I kid.)
yuck! I despise ants!
You are looking lovely, mama.
You really do carry quite high. I swear I carry my children in my arse. ;)
