I guess that should be separated into "Acid Trip" and "Trip to the Park" but whatever, it was more fun the way I have it. And the "acid" refers to the Photoshop action I did to all the pictures. I kinda like (really like) the muted, grungy feel of these pictures. And I know I'm supposed to give credit to the person who made the action but I honestly don't know where I get that info. It was free online somewhere. That's all I got.
So, I'll be completely honest with y'all and 'fess up that my motivation for taking the boys to the park was not so they'd have fun, nor to enjoy the beautiful afternoon. No, my motivation was that I wanted to take some pictures outside so I could use that PS action. But, enjoying the weather and the fun we had were added bonuses and we took off for the park.
I decided that Easton would finally learn how to pedal his tricycle before we left, now that he can reach the pedals. But my 30 second crash course did not produce a pedaling child. Even so, I pushed Easton on his trike and Dalton in the umbrella stroller the short way to the park. Yes, that was crazy of me. But after my Texas trip my back is done wearing that heavy lad in my Snugli...he's too tall for it anyway.
Before we got to the actual playground I took Dizzle out of the stroller and took Easton's helmet off and told E, "I just want to take some pictures before we play". So, knowing exactly what I meant he plopped down next to his brother, put his arms around him and posed:
Too bad Dalton wasn't posing. I like the alarmed/strangled look on his face, don't you?
Some of Easton's silly expressions...he really is an expressive kid.
My little crawler...
That helmet is still just a tad too big...
...but he doesn't care:
At this point the helmet is really just to build good habits.
Feeling artistic:
We stopped to swing:
Jason and I just love this picture:
Feeling artsy again:
There is only one baby swing at the park so Diddlebug had to watch from the sidelines which he is always happy to do.
Those eyes...
I warned Easton that we had just a few minutes left and did he want to do anything else while we were there? He wanted to swing on the big swing:
Whoops...got sand in me mouth.
I'm thankful he has the ability to laugh at himself.
Well, while I'm here...
Hey, that gives me an idea...
We came home after that and took a few more of The Dizz...
Okay, that is all the acidity for you for today. Although I am having fun playing around again...

OMG! There were so many really, really great shots I can't even pick out my faves. Wow. You've got such handsome guys.
Great photos! The acid action actually looks some of my childhood photos taken with one of those 110 cameras!
I am loving that acid action. To bad I don't ever play around in PS anymore.
Those were some great pics! Sounds like yall had fun at the park. Loved the sequence pics of the big boy swing. E is such a trooper!!
And you pushing both E and D at the same time? Good job!! I have tried and I just don't have the coordination to push both. LOL. That is why we had to get the double stroller. LOL.
Wow, you really got some great shots. The ones of Easton swinging are just perfect! Oh, and the close ups on Diddle-bug's face. You're right....those eyes!
