Supergood

We got some good news today...

You remember how when Jason got hired officially by Microsoft and I rambled on about his benefits...one of which was 4 weeks of PAID paternity leave. Well, he'll be taking it!

No, we're not pregnant...

No, we're not planning to get pregnant...

They've just changed their policy and you can take it retroactively anytime in the year after your kid is born! Wooooo hoooooo!

So, sometime between January 1st and Dalton's birthday, Jason will be taking four consecutive weeks off.

It might be a little long...we'll see.

Jason's boss was like, "What are you gonna do for four weeks? You're gonna be begging to come back after two."

Maybe.

As much as we LOVE being a family and doing family things, the little dudes and I get out of our routines just even on the weekends.

It's still gonna be worth it.

Four weeks paid!?!?

I heart Bill Gates. :)

Holy crap! J can get Josh a job there, right? LOL.

Josh is on a week off right now and it is SO weird. We all have our little weekday routines and having day here is different. Not bad, but just a little different. Sometimes it is REALLY nice, like when I was making insurance calls yesterday he took the kids outside for a long time. It was nice and quiet! And I got to take Nathan on a special date yesterday because Josh was home to watch Katie. Good times.

Ok, that is just unheard of!!! Microsoft is amazing!!!

Now I love Matt being home...love it. However, 4 weeks would probably start to drive me crazy. I think we'd have to take a vacation somewhere to fill up the time.

Hmm...anyone wanna come to Arkansas? ;)

Believe it or not I am still here reading. 4 weeks paid vacation- WOW. Hearing things like that reminds me how it sucks to be self employed. Love, britten
