It has been 5 years...

...since the 9/11 attack on America. I don't really have anything poignant to say on the matter as I'm not all that well-spoken. I just didn't want to ignore the anniversary in my post today. Anyway...

Easton was a great sleeper last night. He slept for 12+ hours and was ready for his nap at his normal-ish time. Hmmmm. I bet it'll be a very short nap after such a long sleep last night. Maybe the trick was all the bath fun we had:

I got in with him for the first time in a LONG time. In fact, the last time either of us took an actual bath with him he was scared of the deeper water. But we had lots of fun playing in the bubbles and slip sliding around.

This is just a silly picture from before the bath:

Easton wanted to be a nudie-patootie yesterday and pointed at his shirt and asked, "off?" so I obliged. Then he pulled down his pants but couldn't get the cuffs off over his feet so he ran around with them around his ankles for a bit. Sometimes we could get him to keep the pants on and sometimes not. He never tried to remove his diaper which was good.

Then, this morning was like every other morning: he calls for me and then doesn't quite want to get out of bed yet. I took this picture when I could finally get him to roll over:

I really wonder how it'll be once he switches to the "big boy" bed and can get out on his own. It's slightly terrifying because he is not known for being a great sleeper.

I took another picture of Easton this morning practicing being a big brother. He's brushing Baby Pooh's hair who he just calls, "baby".

Oops, I was wrong about E being ready for his nap. He was acting drowsy when I put him in there but I hear him banging his feet on the crib. Goober. I think he'll fall asleep before too long. I hope. Oh no...now he's talking--and humming. Hmmmm...we'll see.

I've got nothing else to say today but I'll leave you with a video from the other day. Click here. And then this picture of my belly from this morning. 15 weeks 2 days.

Anyway, have a nice Monday!
