Okay, I'm finally trying to get around to it.
Thursday started with me getting fancy (straight hair) and posing for some pictures. Here's one:
And Easton wanted to pose too, not sure why he's got his hand up there but Jason said, "Pose like Mommy!" and that's what he did:
And he often likes to make a sad face when you tell him to smile. It's like his favorite joke:
Once we were all dressed and ready we drove down to the Park & Ride to catch the Light Rail "train". Easton's first trip on the Light Rail, so that's very exciting when you're 3:
It was Dalton's first trip on it too, for that matter:
Lauren's graduation was held at the University of Denver and we were warned there would be minimal parking so guests (and graduates) were advised to take the Light Rail as there is a stop right on campus. So we took it all of the two stops it took to get there but what fun it was:
Once we arrived we met up with Auntie Jessica who came to town for the event. She was so excited to get her hands on my baby again:
But the noon graduation meant it was also right during Dalton's naptime. He was a trooper.
And a snuggler:
Here come the graduates, Lauren is the bleached blonde towards the middle of the picture, that's the best shot we got:
The image burned into our corneas for the next two and a half hours:
Oh my gosh, it was so boring. They made it unneccesarily long. So while we were waiting for "Diploma Group 4" (of 4) we found ways to pass the time. Jessica and Easton found things on her phone to entertain them:
We let Dalton (and Easton) roam around the concourse a bit:
I even took him up to the top of the stands for some milk. Easton had snacks in his Thomas backpack and we all did our best not to further annoy the woman sitting in front of Jessica who had some stick up her rather large bum.
Poor antsy boy:
Finally, as it was Lauren's turn to graduate--my memory card announced it was full. And I missed any pictures or video of the actual moment. Argh!
But I deleted a bunch of stuff as we waited for the ceremony to officially be over and then we caught up with Loe outside:
Posing with all the rest of us:
Sweet Diddles fell asleep on his Daddy as we walked back to the Light Rail station:
Baby boy woke up as soon as we got on the train. That was all he napped the whole day, poor baby. No wonder he got sick the next day, right?
We eventually all met back up at my mom and Lauren's house for some catered bar-be-que and presents:
The boys entertained themselves in Gramoo's cupboard of toys and shows she TiVo's just for when they're there:
Jessica got some shots with her camera too:
Eventually Gramoo bust out her new marshmallow bow and arrow shooter:
Which Easton found highly entertaining:
We headed home and both boys fell asleep in the car at about 6:30, we put them straight to bed and they slept till later than usual the next morning.
The end.

Great pictures of EVERYONE!
Lauren is so cute opening all her presents. I love her facial expressions. :)
I'm greatly intrigued by the marshmallow bow and arrow. Must find out more about this!
I cannot believe your boys were both asleep by 6:30. That's when Adam woke up from his nap on his sick day. lol
I agree, what great pictures. Worth waiting for. You and your sisters (and Gramoo) are just gorgeous.
That is a bummer about the camera. I would be so upset but I can get wound pretty tight sometimes.
I can't imagine having to wait until group 4 of 4 for Lauren while entertaining two youngins. Good job!
You have a gorgeous family Kristin. I especially like the one of you 3 sisters and the one of you and J!
And oh yes, graduations are soooo boring! Why must they make them so long?!?
