We did indeed get out the sprinkler yesterday afternoon. Easton was freezing much of the time and went back and forth between the water and his towel like a goob. Dalton had fun.
And after some traffic delays, Daddy made it home with the new sandbox:
Dalton's not going to be allowed to play in it much...he ate sand, got cleaned up, came back out only to eat some more. Our sand was wet too so it was extra messy. I'm not sure what we were thinking buying a box filled with dirt. :)
Easton is loving it though, been out there twice already today...one of which is right now because Dalton is sleeping and since he's not good in the sand yet E is taking advantage. This morning E had to have a bath after his sand fun...but surely we can't do that every time. I'm hoping our sand dries out soon so it's not quite so messy.
My boy is calling me to build sand castles, though, so I'm gonna wrap this up. Toodles!

Fun! Ours is off the ground like a table so KayTar can't climb in...but that doesn't keep her from dumping it on her head. Sigh. After sand time baths leave a centimeter of sand at the bottom of the tub. LOL.
They are going to have so much fun with the sandbox. If the weather is nice enough, Adam plays in his every single day.
Now you just have to teach Dalton to not eat it!
LOL about D eating the sand. Grace would SO do that too!
Looks like the sprinkler was fun! Man, yall have some crazy weather up there! Wasn't it snowing earlier this month? I have to say that even though I am not fond of yall's winters, I am totally jealous of your summers! It is already scorching down here. Sigh..
First off, I love the photo slideshow. I need to learn all these fun computer tricks. The sandbox is going to provide hours upon hours of entertainment!
In the winter I like to bring our sandbox indoors and fill it with rice.
Yes, I have been thinking about the sand box thing but there are soooooo many cats in my neighborhood..... uh gross. I'm off to read more to catch up :>>
How fun. When Ranen was about 18 months, we got a sand pit and Ranen didn't want anything to do with it.
So now that it has weeds in it and the sand is all dried out, Micah enjoys playing in it...lol
I heart sandboxes! Awesome!
I can't get Felicity to stop eating sand! When we go to the park she loves to eat mulch. I guess she is getting some fiber.
Sorry to hear about Easton falling.
