Back In the Swing of Things

Jason's back at work for the second day now, Easton started back at school today and Baby Carson and his mom came over for a "practice" session this morning.

Which means my day started at 5:45. Ack! The plan is for him to come at 6:00 and today I decided to shower first but tomorrow that is unlikely. We'll see, though.

I learned how he takes his milk and all the specifics around how he goes to sleep and all that. I think it'll go just fine. The extra-early mornings one day a week are the only thing I'm afraid of.

So, I left Shannon and Carson here while I took Easton to school. Even with two and a half weeks off Easton did just great with drop off and all today. Yay! Dalton and I came home and hung with Shannon and Baby Carson until Carson's next nap. We ate snacks and drank decaf chai and chatted until Carson woke up (actually he's just like my kids where he wakes after his first sleep cycle) but when he woke for good it was time to go get Eastie so they left and so did D and I.

We came home and played a bit, Easton made a brontosaurus and a triceratops with some PlayDoh he got from a classmate. Then we had some lunch, Dalton threw all of his on the floor so he's napping now and E is playing quietly in the living room rather than his room. He's playing so well that I'm fine with him being down here with me.

Oh, and I dug up some pictures for you...this is from one of E's still-sick days where Jason was playing on the Wii under Easton's Mii and was making the Mii fall down which Eastie found hilarious:

So hilarious that he was well enough to try for himself:

Dalton did a bit of aerobic boxing:

Maws, if you couldn't tell...we are loving that thing. And Loe, thanks for letting us borrow the Fit!

So anyhoo, that's the scoop from here. Till tomorrow (I hope!) Carson will be here so I'm not exactly sure how it'll go...we'll se!

Holy cow, that's an early morning. I had trouble sleeping last night and had only been asleep for a little over 2 hours by the time you were waking up for the day!

Hope it all goes well with Carson tomorrow. Can't wait to hear about it!

I have oen extra early morning per week, too, with KayTar's PT...but we got used to it. It just take an adjustment.

Glad everyone is healthy and happy and back to normal!

Wow, 6 am is awfully early to start watching another kiddo! How late in the day will you have him?

Love Dalton on the Wii, too cute for words.
