Happy New Year!!!

It doesn't feel like a new year...normally I'm a little more sentimental about seeing another year gone by. Not this year. I didn't even want to stay up till midnight. I guess that's what happens when you're 30? :)

Seriously, it feels different this year and I'm not sure why. Oh well.

Happy 2009 all the same!

Dalton is 100% now, I'd say. We're letting him have milk again. I was so afraid that with all the juice and stuff we were having to let him have that he might lose his taste for milk like Easton did. So we didn't want to go too long. He's handling it fine.

Now Easton is the one that seems sick. Jason and I were putting away all the Christmas junk while the boys watched Toy Story. We joined them on the couch before it was over and Eastie was acting kinda funny wanting Jason to pick him up and then he just looked all pale. Jason noticed he felt warm but thought it might have just been from being curled up in the blanket. Nope. He had a fever alright. 101.4 in his pit. He refused any lunch in lieu of a nap. I hope he doesn't have what Dalton had...that was no good. I thought we were in the clear for that one. Time will tell, I'm sure.

Anyway, back when things were better...these are pics from Tuesday night after popsicles:

And from Wednesday morning...I'm showing off another of my new tops:

Look at little E in the background of that one. He's talking to my mom on the phone. I love how he just took it in there and is chilling on the couch like a big person with his little crossed leg and all:

We spent Wednesday at my mom's house. Lauren was feeling nostalgic as she was packing up her room and stuff. I think she wanted everyone there. So we went to be there. My mom ordered in sandwiches for lunch and the boys played, Dalton took a short nap, my sisters and I looked through old pictures. Good times.

Today we're not doing much, checking out the Wii Fit Lauren is letting us borrow and as I said, we packed up the Christmas stuff. I think I'll run out to the grocery store. You know...

We do like having J home again today and he's taking off tomorrow too. The recent 4 and 5 day weekends have been mighty nice.

Here's a last parting shot of my now healthy kiddo. He found this hat on the couch and knew to start shouting, "Go Tigers!!!"

We're training them well. :)

Yay for Dalton feeling better...hope Eastie is able to keep from getting as sick as little brother.

I think it's super duper cute how Easton is sitting while he's talking to Moo. And you really do look good in that color. :)

I'm glad Dalton is feeling better but sad that E is not now. I hope it is not the same thing and is short lived.

I love your new top. It looks great on you. And E looks so grown up talking on the phone...he he he.

Oh the ick! I'm so tired of the ick. Hopefully Easton won't get it as bad...Zoe always seems to fair far worse than Athena.

Happy New Year!
