...Easton's got is just as bad as Diddles did. However, Easton doesn't drink milk, so he's not getting quite as dehydrated as his baby bro did. He's plenty happy to drink juices and water. So that's good.
On Friday I think he was relatively healthy for most of the day, other than his 3:30 a.m. yakking. We even braved a trip to Sears to buy our new elliptical (thank you, Microsoft!) and we let him have pizza. My sister and her girlfriend came over to eat pizza with us and play for hours on the Wii. Oh, and see the boys too:
We put the boys to bed at their normal time which meant Jessica had to say goodbye to them till probably March:
On Saturday morning Easton still seemed just peachy. I didn't make him drink his juice slowly or anything, it had been over 24 hours since he'd last puked. We all snuggled in the big bed and watched a couple of TV shows. After the second show he got up and left, walking into his room when we heard him yak. Apparently he was heading for his trash can (where we've told him to aim for in the night if he felt sick). Poor little rule-following kid must've thought that was the ONLY place he should throw up and so he was on his way, didn't quite make it. :( That broke my heart when I said, "Why were you coming in here buddy?" so that I could get whatever it was he was after and he said--crying, "For my trash can, but then I got sick". :(
Immediately afterwards he seemed completely fine, jumping off the bed, wanting a big breakfast. This strange tummy bug is almost like morning sickness. Puking at random times over several days and feeling fine in between.
After breakfast the boys played some video games. From a former non-gaming family this is pretty funny to now have a Wii, E was playing on the computer, and Dalton was on the Leapster.
Jason then set out to put together our new elliptical. Unfortunately that gigantor is going to have to live in our bedroom for who knows how long. We're about to finish the basement and need to have it cleared out...but it's so big we're not sure if we're ever going to put it down there. We'll see.
Easton so wanted to help but was starting to feel crummy:
He started running a pretty bad fever again as the day wore on and while I took a nap, Jason had E take a nap too because he was just acting so miserable. Dalton woke up from his nap while E was still asleep and played the Wii. He's pretty silly:
Easton joined us and felt well enough to sit on the cat:
He was pretty miserable the rest of the day though, seemed like he felt a tad nauseous so we just had him take it somewhat easy, although we gave him a biggish dinner since he'd asked for it (honey toast, grits, and cottage cheese). Despite his nap he was plenty tired at bedtime and asked to skip a bath to go right to bed. We let him. We didn't even put him in fresh p.j.s because I was worried he'd puke and we'd need the clean jammies for the nighttime.
I was right.
At about 11 p.m. I was getting ready for bed and J was on the Wii when we heard him and both went rushing in. I instantly regretted his dinner choices but oh well. Jason stuck him in a bath to clean up and I had to clean up his bed and everything. I'm so so glad I double make the bed.
He went right back to sleep and we followed. So far so good today too but we're really really making him take it easy today. He wasn't allowed to guzzle his morning juice, he's only having crackers and toast. Jason stayed home with the kids while I went to church and they just took it easy watching a Buzz movie:
When I walked in Easton was doing a FANTASTIC job painting quietly at the table. I was so impressed with how well he was staying in the lines as he painted pictures of superheros from a coloring book.
Dalton was a little more active and he was being so so cute and fun. He was pretending he was Buzz and of the "To infinity and beyond" all Dalton says is, "Yon'!" But he's so way cute:
Now the boys are having quiet time, J's on the Wii and it's so chilly I think I might like a cup of chai from this retrieval portal:
Jason joked I should change my blog and email address to "lilyretrievalportal" as "spout" is apparently just not what people say anymore. :)

I am sorry your crew is not 100% yet. :( Hopefully it will pass quickly.
Glad to hear yall are enjoying your Wii! As soon as we are healthy, we need to pull ours out. Santa brought some games that we have not even tried out yet.
Still sick? Yuck! Hope you are all better very soon.
I sure hope that you don't get this strange bug that has invaded your house!
We got a Wii this year too, and I highly recommend Dance Dance Revolution to work up a sweat ...and provide lots of entertainment.
Hope everyone is better soon!
Great pictures! Those big smiley ones of Dalton had me smiling right back at him.
Was the church you went to the same one that you were liking earlier?
Your boys sure have gotten lots of lovin from both of their aunties recently...hope they don't miss them too much!
